  2. After all the PR articles and photo ops with the millionaires ny Torah Umesorah it is the struggling parents who are forced to pay more for tuition to cover the teachers salaries.
TU is only committing for 2 years supposedly and only 2/3 if the school is committed to the rest which they are forcing it on the parents

    1. 1) These people fighting with the German airline and police obviously dont believe they are in galus, which means they don't believe in Mashiach. What else don't they believe in?
      2) What would you do if someone you could easily punch called you a Nazi?
      3) This is why when 1 or 2 Frum people flout the law, and even worse act like jerks about it, like they own the world, its not only a chilul Hashem but it causes more sinah, which causes the Jew to get kicked in the face again even harder, and the end result is like what you see here. The airline threw everyone off the plane.

    2. 1) Your gratuitous attacks coupled with your bizarre assertions do not change the facts.

      2) Under what circumstances was he called a Nazi? And why would it be acceptable for a police officer to punch a passenger? These officers were denying passengers their paid tickets without even offering an explanation?

      3) The only ones flouting the law were the polizei and Lufthansa.

    1. The past few years almost every job/salary had some significant raises 10-20k the teachers were getting a 2% raise maybe. In reality due to inflation TU Grand raise the teachers salary is really not going to be making any dent in Appreciating our teachers! Had they done this 5 years ago it maybe would be something of significance today it's matching the reality of inflation.. look at the minimum wage the battle for 15.00 is long over it's up to 20 with eyes on 25! Teachers will continue being the most underpaid job.

    2. It was rabbi Ozeiry who initiated it TU jumped on the bandwagon to take credit. And why are many schools not taking the TU money now? Because they realize that it is all smoke and mirrors and at the end of the day tuition must be raised significantly.

  5. What did Torah umesorah do for tuition burden on parents besides raising it again and again while taking credit for the initiatives that the parents are forced to foot the bill.

  6. Let the schools open their books to an outside audit and see if they are justified to raise tuition. Let TU open their books and see how much salaries are going for.

  9. If the parents dont help pay for the raises in teachers salaries, the teachers are going to stop working as teachers and there wont be a school anymore. There is a very large school in Lakewood who's teachers are threatening to quit together and get office jobs (offices are begging for employees) unless they get the raises. Wouldnt parents want to make sure the schools remain open???

    1. Its not a question of if they want. It's a question of if they could.
If until now many parents simply can't afford the tuition then please explain how it will help anyone by raising the tuition. I don't get the math of that one.
