-  A law enforcement source tells CBS News the Buffalo shooting suspect was also considering targets in New Jersey in Lakewood, Jersey city and Toms River. The Ocean County prosecutor says there is no evidence for that and suspect had no ties to NJ.

 - New Jersey's Jewish Federation: the Nonprofit Security Grant Program  helped synagogues and other religious spaces pay for security equipment and personnel. Last Thursday, leaders of the Federation met with officials in Washington, where they advocated for more accessible bias incident reporting and  additional bias crime prevention training for law enforcement.

An 18-year-old man was killed and his 17-year-old sister was rescued after they were trapped in a sand collapse Tuesday at a beach in Ocean County, authorities said. Emergency crews rushed to reports of multiple people trapped in the sand shortly after 4 p.m. yesterday near Seaview Road and Chadwick Beach on the barrier island of Toms River, according to police. The ”teens were reportedly digging a large hole when it collapsed and trapped both of them.

    3. No the police messed up again by blocking the entrance as thousands were approaching the gates on a small mehadrin path. They should have allowed it to stay open. The crowd control is what killed 45 kedoshim last year.

    1. There is no more learning being done because of this. There are simply thousands of Jews men women and children stuck in the middle of nowhere without bathrooms etc because of the incompetence of the big shots in the government.
      Remember what R' Shimon said about the government that seems like they mean our good.

    3. A huge amount of people did not plan on attending this year because of last year's tragedy. The zechus of the Niftarim is that many more people stayed home with their families, learned more Torah and stayed safe.
