The IDF Thinks – and the Torah Winks

The IDF Thinks – and the Torah Winks

Re: The One who Wields the Sword

Not so many nights ago, the People of the Book made a Seder and retold the ‘Sipur’ of our odyssey in Egypt.

The One Above extricated His nation from Pharaoh’s reign via ten plagues that turned nature on its head.

The ultimate objective was realized as we received Torah from Sinai – that’s the narrative – but are we on the same page?

The Seder message is –
למען תדע כי אני ה' בקרב הארץ" [שמות: ח,יח]"

The Boreh Olam runs this world and orchestrates the course of history.

Iran is a kid on the global block and is not going away!

According to the Talmud [Yoma 10A] ‘Poras’ has a pivotal role to play in the world, a colossal confrontation with Edom – or Western civilization. One opinion says ‘Poras’ will prevail – that doesn’t sound like F-35’s flying out of a Negev airbase and decimating Natanz nuclear facility.

Naftali Bennett and Putin will dance the Kizatzka, sooner than Teheran disappears from the world scene.

If  רצון שמים decrees by design that Iran realize its aspirations for hegemony, any endeavor by Tzahal to the contrary, is a waste of energy and resources, and won’t impact the calculus.

The issue with this Ami piece is not only that it’s wishful thinking that will never transpire, but also the tone of the title and interview, a cavalier worldview that we’ll take care of things [as if it’s up to them]; the Haggadah’s directive casts this philosophy aside into the dustbin, with the rest of the sour-dough chometz.

The Torah’s pen is mightier than [the one who yields] the sword.

  1. Israel celebrates Yom haatzmaot today the chazon ish said the Medina won't last more than 70 years look how the Arabs are now in the government running the country. So much for the dream of a country that will end the exile of the Jewish people.

I'd appreciate it if the author would take the time to write in proper English. It would make his bizarre fantasy of wishing for the death of seven million Jews to Own The Tziyoinim sound a bit less unhinged (but only a bit).
