- Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman is reportedly planning a wave of new economic cuts and measures that would target the ultra-Orthodox community. The report claims that Liberman is looking to advance three new measures: cutting the budget allocated to yeshiva studies by a third — from NIS 1.2 billion ($360 million) to NIS 800 million ($240 million); funding the private Charedi school system at 75% as opposed to 100%; and allocating benefits like daycare subsidies, rental assistance and arnona (property tax) discounts only to those who earn a certain level of income — cutting off those who study full time.(TOI)

-Ben Shapiro tracts to school shooting: n the Jewish community, we have been doing this for literally decades at this point. Armed security guards, protocols on locked exterior doors, lockdown procedures and mechanisms for classrooms, fenced campuses are commonplace and well-accepted.

- WIC Program root cause for baby formula shortage:
FOX The contracting process means that, in many states, the "approved" provider ends up with a near-monopoly on the formula market—not only do WIC families purchase from their state’s contracted brand, but retailers give this brand greater prominence and preference, meaning most non-WIC families buy that brand too. Ironically, a Biden administration that has spent much time talking about the need to promote competition has said precious little about how this government program actually stifles a robust marketplace for formula.

  1. Everything and then some in terms of security was absolutely done by that district
The rest of the world, even third world countries, shake their head in wonder.
These do not happen another countries
    Gun control is normally necessary

Its alright to be a strong conservative and still acknowledge that there are many things out of whack with the movement and the GOP

    1. Gun control exists. It's not a free for all, except for criminals. What law do you propose that would have stopped this.

    2. For an simple start

The Buffalo shooter and the Texas shooter were both 18 years old. At least raise the age of access to guns commensurate to alcohol and the like.. For many states that's 20 or 21
Second, as it was with cannon at the end of the 18th century it should be as illegal to own virtually any sort of high powered automatic

    3. These were not automatics.

  2. How can one cash in on the Ger scandal? It seems that they are paying off the media not to report on their shenanigans. Or, are they using other forms of intimidation??

    2. Open a website and tell Ger you are publishing an expose on them.
Or even a newspaper. Make them pay for you to keep quiet.
They might just make you an 'offer you cannot refuse' and call it a 'family dispute'.

  5. Lieberman's cuts to schools are only to those who don't teach the curriculum that they made for them.

I hope those who were too lazy to vote last time are making a cheshbon hanefesh. If those people would have voted, the entire government would have looked different. Another seat for Gimmel would have prevented all of these problems, including giyus. How sad it is that people are so short-sighted and allow zeitige taanos to cloud their view.

    1. The cuts are only for those that don't learn the curriculum that they setup.
So they're trying to hold the Yeshivos hostage to teach their curriculum.
Good for all the Yeshivos that don't get threatened by money.
