  1. One of the biggest issues with Kashrus today are the party planners! Most of them do not have a hechsher and the buy by all kinds of places the different foods and use kelim and props from places that can have serious Kashrus concerns. Please only use party planners that have a reliable hechsher and not be machshil people.
    A gut yuhr

  2. Why are more rentals coming on the market? I’d think that with rising interest rates there’d be more demand

    1. Maybe with rising inflation more people need money so more people need to rent out part of their house

  3. YS should stick to selling haddasim

  4. Why does hefkervelt debase itself and link to shain's "kol koreh"?

  5. He could say what he wants. Nobody cares what he says.

  6. Was yu’s charter - which does not identify it as a religious institution - amended in 67 to acquire more public funds? Was that the story where the Rav was very upset about it and spoke out publicly against it?

  7. He has claim after claim, yet brings no actual story or fact. Even if he can't prove his points, let us hear exactly what they did wrong.
For example, if they recommended the Manalapan store, that does not damage their credibility at all. The OK had a system in place, with a Mashgiach Temidi. The fact that they were fooled does not say that the KCL cannot give Hashgacha any more.

    1. Say what you want he was right about Monsey and Manalapan he called it. And yes he was appointed by Rav Shneur zatzal

    2. 'Appointed' for what? To write empty screeds? To make baseless claims? What did Reb Shneur appoint him to, and more importantly, why should I care?

    3. Appointed by rav shnuer to check eggs. Let's not get carried away.

    4. He claims he knew about finkel but for some reason he was quite about it. Very easy to afterwards say I knew all along

    5. Either rav shneur felt bad for him and gave him a job, or he normal back then. Either way, now he just rants without facts to back himself

    6. You’re the one ranting without facts.

  8. Actually, if you read the SCOTUS decision, they clearly wrote that they would overturn the decision, allowing YU to discriminate, when the proper appeals process had been performed.
This is YU's win against LGBTQ rights, not the opposite.

    1. Wrong. That wasn't a decision. It was a dissent opinion by 1 of the 9 justices. And it was not based on the case itself, rather it was about the first amendment. The case is whether yu is a religious institution or not and do they have first amendment religious protections.
