....saying one has to think twice before going (to Uman)
ReplyDeleteAnother total meaningless statement. Either say "In my opinion one should NOT go", or say its ok. "Telling me to think twice" is a total waste of human breath
What azus to comment like this about something said by a Rosh Yeshiva. For some commenter on a blog to say "in my opinion " on how and what a Rosh Yeshiva should say is unbelievable chutzpa
DeleteSorry, when the whole quote was a political humor lesson
Delete"how to win friends and influence people"it becomes hard to call it azus
"Campaign launched for building the new "Aleph Beis Gimmel" Center"
ReplyDeleteJust call it Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin Chabad House.
Wow! לולא דמסתפינא I would say I agree with you 100%. The Gedolim of previous generations (even as recent as R’ Elya ZTZ”L) we’re able to clop oifen tish and say we are doing this or we are not doing this! Today’s Gedolim just know how to say סברות, they don’t have what it takes to make a statement.
Deletewho decided they are and what makes them Gedolim
DeleteMore one would hope than personal ambition

ReplyDeletePeople CLAIM that they like Trump's policies, that is why they support him.
ReplyDeleteBut when it comes LEMAASEH, we see that they know little about his policies, and support everything about the person.
What does liking his policies have to do with this fraud case? Can his foreign policies not be good at the same time as his company swindled?
What does liking his policies have to do with his election fraud lies? Can his economic policies not be good at the same time as his being proven to have lied over and over again about the elections?
What does liking his policies have to do with his stealing government documents? Can his environmental policies not be good at the same time as stealing government documents and acting carelessly with State secrets? (declassifying something that should be classified - if he even declassified them - is a terrible thing for the country, regardless of laws)
What does liking his policies have to do with his inciting sedition? Can his public health policies not be good even as he sends people to undermine the democratic process?
The answer is, people don't care or know much about his policies. They support his hashchasa, his demonizing people and dehumanizing his opponents. His bad middos brings out the bad in each of his supporters, and that is why they support the person. They may eventually support the policies, but that is only because they support the person
Depends but mostly disagree

DeleteWow. You really fell hook, line, and sinker for the programming on the fake news media. I support Trumps policies. I think he's the best President the USA has had in memory.
I disagree with your allegations tying him with what the Trump haters decided to manipulatively call sedition. And do you really believe the ridiculous nonsense that witch Letitia from NY, which ran on a platform of trump-hatred, is writing in her frivolous lawsuit?
I also disagree with your claim that he stole government documents or was somehow careless with national secrets. He did neither.
I know it's hard for you to see through the smokescreen his political opponents and their cronies in the mainstream liberal media arm are trying to blind you with, but thankfully there are millions of us who still can see the truth.
I see you forgot to mention Trumps "Russia Colusion" or His phone call to Zelenski, you know, the thing he was supposedly impeached because of.
DeleteOh, I forgot, those were both disproven.Yet you still are buying all the other accusations.
You know the saying, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, well appearently you have no shame.
I love those comments about 'mainstream media'. The point being made is that those who don't like Trump are following the mainstream, whereas the Trump supporters are independent thinkers who buck the trend and think for themselves.
DeleteThe joke of course is that the average Lakewood person is hardly ever exposed to the 'mainstream media'. For them, the mainstream is pro-Trump. From advertorials in the Yated, to froth at the mouth screeds in the Shopper, all they know is the Trump side. The only thing they know about the left is that which 770AM curated for them. Yet they think they are the 'independent thinkers'.
Anon 8:41 - you seem to have a strange definition of 'disproven'.
DeleteNeither claim was disproven - Russian collusion was not prosecuted because of a lack of sufficient evidence that would result in a guilty decision. That does not mean disproven. In fact, the report said that he was not exonerated (which is why trump said 'total exoneration', because it wasn't true). The Zelensky call was not disproven. The Republicans wouldn't impeach for it for their partisan reasons. They brought no proof and nobody actually cares for proof. All they need are 'talking points' and the mainstream right wing media provides that for their sheeple by the bucket load.
Wait - he DIDN'T steal govt docs? This I got to hear...Nu? Explain.
DeleteI personally know 3 breslove that canceled their tickets after hearing the clear Das Torah
ReplyDeleteMr anti trumper. Nobody’s interested in your long Megillos about Trump. We get it you hate him and you can’t deal with the fact that millions of Americans don’t think the same as you. Too bad! Btw this may be hard for you to hear but there is a strong chance he will be our next president as well.
ReplyDeleteThank you for making my point for me.
DeleteThey support the person, not the policies. They believe everything the mainstream charedi media tells them to believe, no critical thinking at all.
You are barely half right at most

WOW 30 seudas. I hope everyone thanks their wife or mother in law or mother for all that they are doing. At least the men should prepare some torah to say over and give them some ruchniyos. Rav Pam used to say the dvar torah is the mens part.
