- Following heavy criticism from parents and schools the LSTA published an article on tls in a Q&A format. Safety concerns were not addressed except that if a car runs through flashing lights on a bus that drops off a kid on the other side of the street you should notify the cops. Other issues brought up were blamed on the state regulations on financial constraints, and lateness on the bus drivers. Most issues they said were the first 2 weeks of the school year. The annual budget for the lst is $28 million of which one million goes to pay for operations which includes salaries for 5 full time and 3 part time employees,. rent, insurance and other expenses. This past week the Lakewood shopper published an article about the lack of accountability and safety concerns. I don't work for LSTA, but don't see how it's fair to blame them for Lakewood's abnormal traffic patterns. I think the blame here belongs to the Township.
ReplyDeleteIs Adirei hatorah ladies event in the actual blueclaws stadium or a tent.
ReplyDeleteWasn't there a cherem against using the stadium
Wasn't there a cherem against using the internet?
DeleteMr. Basher, you probably were not around when the cherem was put out. It was against going to baseball games. Relax
ReplyDeleteAre you calling the Roshei yeshiva of Lakewood bashers??
DeleteThey are the ones who said not to go there. No one ever made a event in the stadium. Bmg made tent events because they won't use the stadium which was a pirtzah in Lakewood.
Actually, the letter if I remember correctly banned/threatened people from even being in the vicinity of the stadium.
DeleteWhy are they having an event and why was only yeshiva wives invited? If you want our support…
ReplyDeleteWhy in the world do you think only yeshiva was invited? There are ads in all the papers the last few weeks. And no, the event is not in the stadium, rather in a tent being erected there.
Deletehttps://youtu.be/IzFeKt6tTA8 Rav Elya Ber says enough is enough, bachurim need to start getting married younger.
ReplyDeleteThe one and ONLY feasible way to implement R Elya Ber’s idea would be for BMG to make a rule that they won’t accept new bochurim older then 22.
Agudah is now a lobby for askanim looking to make $$ off the sheeple by lobbying for grants ie. Tuition relief, security grants, lunch program expansion. All code words to enrich the Roshei Mosdos. Meanwhile the underpaid teachers will be covered by squeezing the parents.
ReplyDeleteThe whole Agudah NJ is a cover for massive government money that's supposed to go for education and tuition funneled between askanim who have cozy relationships with Vaad endorsed politicians.
DeleteHow many struggling parents here in Lakewood have yet to see a dime?
Please tell me how they wash all that money, and when will their cover blow
If Trump says he can do things with thoughts, how dare anyone say differently? He freed someone from jail, and that means everything he says, does or thinks is correct.
ReplyDeleteAt least that's what I think I have to believe. Let me check the editorial/news/ads in a frum newspaper to learn how to think for myself against the mainstream media
i was in guardianship court with my specal needs sister. It was a farce. The judge said her mind was made up before we ever got to court that she was not giving guardianship to any member of the family. She gave guardianship to a coworker's motherbecause there was a trust to share among their friends When I called Agudah I was told the system is corrupt. They would not even look into it.....
ReplyDeleteThe wives of the few in yeshiva got a fancy invitation. It’s perfectly fine, we don’t need them or their events but they want our support they should show some respect.
ReplyDeleteThe idea- at least what I understand is-- the respect of the bnai Torah. And the wives that sacrifice to have their husbands learns. Not everyone sacrifices but there are a lot
DeleteI'm a working guy, and have no issue that my wife didn't get a fancy invite.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure about this stadium event. I think that during Aseres Yemei Teshuva it is worthy to be machmir and not to attend.
