  1. Supermarkets pushed for the ban on paper bags as a compromise for the plastic bag ban - so they wouldn’t be stuck supplying customers with the more expensive paper bags.
Why weren’t the supporters of the ban (56 Percent of NJ shoppers) using reusable bags before the ban took effect?

  2. Obviously, it is much easier to dump your garbage in front of your store than to take it down the block… Once the money is spent - maybe we should at least use the compactors during the winter months when the odor would be less?

  3. They should repeal the ban. The reusable bags also go into the garbage just like the disposable ones. It's just a waste of our money to have to buy grocery hags

    1. The girls don't want those desks, they want to get into where there's no desk.

    2. The girls need to go to the school that would be best for them.

    3. And what if that school that is best for them is totally full with siblings ? And the newer schools dont have siblings and have room .

    4. Sounds like you believe that if a school is full and there are girls that might benefit from going to that school , then the school needs to provide millions of dollrs to build an extension and hire new principals and teachers to accomodate whatever amount of girls could henefit ftom thrir school and we shoukd also leave the other schools empty .

    5. This is a terribly painful subject. Wherever one stands on the issue, keep in mind that people are trying hard to address it, people are in pain, and we need Moshiach now to help us avoid this sort of Tzaar. No one should take the pain of yiddishe neshamos lightly.

  7. Are the grocery stores directly profiting on the reusable bags/boxes no one reuses?

    1. .20 a bag is at least double the cost from the store. $1 a box is way more than double the cost.

    2. Who's stopping you from reusing them?
