  1. The school bussing is not only a disaster but our children's quality of life is severely effected because of the greed. There are empty buses doing morning routes with no kids getting on the bus since the route starts at 6:30 am when shachris is at 8 its not practical but technically there is a bus.
Other kids are forced to all gather and wait at one stop to keep the route short so the driver cand do another run
The kids are showing up late after sitting on the bus over an hour. It appears all the care about is getting them to school at any cost of time or inconvenience

    1. And busdrivers are as reckless as ever. Noone to call and no one cares.

  2. Every parent should call the LSTA and complain.
They take advantage of our community by telling everyone that no changes or adjustments can be made yet. Where are the employees? On vacation? Why can’t they deal with the issues that are current.

    1. Try calling the LSTA. All you get is a voice mail box. Same is with the bus companies. I'm waiting for LSTA to refund the parents for every day the bus is late or doesn't show up. Who is getting that money???

  3. The worst is when a do-gooder lady stops and chaps a shmooz with a busdriver by a stop on the cheshbon of a line of cars on both sides waiting!!

  4. The biggest chutzpah and hypocrisy is when the BOE ran the busing the askanim and roshei mosdos would call them out publicly even on the first day of school now that unzere have hijacked the busing no one is allowed to say a word you hear crickets from the school district from the loud attorney nothing reported in the poop and everyone is told to keep quiet and don't you dare complain.

Why must we be treated like this by frum people are we subjected to the bully tactics of the LSTA?
We deserve to be respected and listened to this attitude in Lakewood of taking advantage and bullying is over. The olam should speak up and not put up with this disgusting arrogant behavior with our tax dollars.

    1. It's because the schools are forced to collect the money for busing however the LSTA is the one who makes the decisions, but since the money comes in from the schools they are not behold into the individual parent. if the LSTA would need to collect the money people wouldn't pay unless they would be attentive to our needs.

  6. The BOE has to put into the contract that they have priority over any issue involving a child, including busing routes. They are, as elected officials, answerable to the people. They cannot delegate this to a non-government entity because it would destroy this fundamental principle of government.

  8. And why don't we hear a peep from Avi Schnall who calls everyone out but now total silence and he plans to run for assembly representing US in Lakewood while ignoring the busing fiasco
