NJ reports As of 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Ophelia weakened and was downgraded to a tropical depression. Rain and windy conditions caused by Tropical Storm Ophelia are expected to continue in New Jersey through Sunday, forecasters said. Heavy rainfall from the storm could produce “locally considerable flash and urban flooding impacts” across portions of the Mid-Atlantic states from North Carolina to New Jersey through Sunday, the National Hurricane Center wrote in its latest forecast briefing.
