Two Shabassos left to the year. Let's celebrate them correctly. Enter Shabbos in a calm frame of mind. Sing Zemiros with passion. Stay focused during the meals and speak Divrei Torah. Don't let the conversation turn to Lashon Hara ch"v.
Drop those stupid empty newspapers and pick up a Chumash or a Gemara. Have you learned the Halachos of R"H Y"K and Sukkos left? Every word of Torah on Shabbos is worth 613 during the week (Reb Elya Lopian), so chapp arain zechusim. Daven slowly, spend the half hour on Pesukei dezimra. Chazer the daf if you have done it already. Learn the Parsha with Rashi. Spend time with each child individually learning and talking about something important.
Let's use this Shabbos and next as it should be used. It's priceless!
