  2. The parents are being very patient. The LSTA has to understand that there are issues that need to be addressed timely and not to tell parents that we won’t make any changes for 2 months

    1. It's out of control at this point. No answers, no accountability, and worst of all, they demand - no, they force - us to pay more and more for less and less each year.

  3. I remember when Williamsburg was a mixed community, now it is 100% hasidish, likewise I remember when Boro Park was mixed now its 90% hasidish, I think Lakewood will be 80% hasidish by 2035

    5. When I first came to Lakewood from Boro Park as a newlywed 50 years ago, I felt more comfortable here since, as a Litvak, I was a minority among my friends and neighbors back in BP. Nothing bad about anyone. It was just a comfort level, having similar minhagim and ways of doing things as the people around me. Guess things are always changing. It's been 50 years! BH the Yiddishe community is growing ka'h

  4. How does the LSTA have the right to do this EVERY SINGLE YEAR? Can they not learn from their mistakes?
A bus without air conditioning, for twenty minutes, might be manageable. When they have to sit for an hour and longer, because of double routes, find a solution. And stop the drivers' dictatorship! The drivers should not be allowed to stop the children from drinking water on the bus. It is dangerous to sit in the heat for that long without drinking.
