Traffic Costing People Parnassa

Does anyone on  the township government care about the little guy?

Once again Lakewood residents sat in rush hour traffic on Cedarbridge Avenue  due to construction of the utility companies installing electric lines for the new shopping development. It resulted in hundreds of people who were forced to show up late to work and losing their pay specifically hourly workers. Rebbeim and children came late to school. Everytime this happens officials say they will not allow construction to take place during the busy morning commute but it turns out to be words only. Just yesterday after sitting for an hour they said it wont happen and then traffic resumed again today. There is no excuse for the township committee members to be out of touch and not take any action to help the residents who rely on paycheck to paycheck and let them suffer while development goes on.

  1. Agreed. Especially since there was room for them to be on the sidewalk/grass.... I sat in traffic for 1.5 hours over the last 2 days.

  4. And may I ask where you were coming from or going to all the places that you work in or all built adding to the traffic you can't blame the traffic if you are the traffic

  5. Huh? Where we work is causing the traffic? Really? It is the overdevelopment of residential developments with no infrastructure to handle it.
