Also not mentioned is that a relative of the publisher is involved in a law suit with the individual. A  rosh yeshiva and other rebbeim specifically told  bochurim  before pesach not to attend or partake in any form of this protest.

  1. A covid-19 vaccines and you live stream event for women by JOWMA Jewish Orthodox Women's Medical Association was advertised in all the frum newspapers this week and sponsored by many organizations some from Lakewood. Jowma does not advertise who their rabbinic board is but they are advising the community on Mikva guidelines and other topics that should have rabbinical guidance they have a yoetzet halacha as a presenter. Why is this allowed to be pushed on the frum Torah observant community

    1. Most of The frum media papers and websites are tabloid trash they have no rabbonim guiding or hide behind anonymous daas torah and will print or publish anything for a quick buck. There's a reason why more people are not allowing these trash to enter their homes they wont even use it to wrap fish.

  2. This protest never took place, as far as I know.
I don't think a protest would help, but the protestee is certainly someone who deserves repudiation

    1. The so-called “protest” was a total joke. A bunch of bored teenagers who were offered free cholent to come and have a kumzitz when they should’ve been at home helping their parents. No adults participated. Just boys that need to get themselves a life. Oh, and it’s so interesting that the publisher of this news article is none other than the brother in law of the person that has a Seruv from Beis Din against him for suing another yid in court and spending tens of thousands of dollars on a case...

    2. It actually did take place but the coward askanim were not to be seen. Instead they raitzed uhn and conned a bunch of bochurim to go by offering free kugel and cholent. The threw stuff at the home and damaged property the cops were on hand and arrested someone.

  3. So powerful Lakewood askanim have no problem getting people arrested over the years and massering on people who stand in their way but if a individual stands up to the establishment and call out corruption he is a labeled as a community moser without a psak bais din.
And the olam is expected to trust unnamed askanim who are of course leshem shamayim with no negius or conflicts of interests.

    1. No matter the problems you may have with the Vaad, yhat is still no excuse for mesirah.

Besides, he maasers on everyone, mot only on developers. Covid, sensus etc.

    2. You are right. If someone wants to make a protest, they should write their names and take responsibility for their actions. These 'askanim' are not helpful to our community.

But that does not justify the actions of the protestee. His 'calling out' corruption has helped nobody, and when the government focuses the spotlight on our community, it is never the actual corrupt individuals who suffer. It is the innocent yungerman who did not cross his ts and dot his is correctly that ends up suffering. He is an obnoxious person, a public nuisance, and a violent person. He should be repudiated by our community.

    5. When people were arrested back in the day by the mass taxes arrsts there were no protests. The askonim threw them under the bus and called them bad apples. Now some anonymous claims all shall protest because he decided he does not like someone.

  4. The same is with the aguna protests who are targeting family members. No rav gave permission for the harassment. The protest in Lakewood a few weeks ago at a parents home was against the dayanim who put a siruv on the husband. They said that they never gave permission to harass family members.

    2. If people acted the way they should, they would not have to worry about a moiser. If you prav chosuv act it. Don't build illegally and expect noone to be upset at you - yes mesira is wrong but takes 2 to tango.

  6. He could be nuts but that doesn't give anyone the right without a bais din psak to protest in front of his house. He has no din moser unless the bais din paskens like that.

    1. It's crazy. This day and age you go to protest just so fun. Last week Thursday there was a protest in front of a parent who has a son who is in a lengthy divorce. None of the 20 people who showed up had any idea of the details but why not. Let's have some fun

    1. It's when people act as low lives as don't care about other people, lie to the planning board, figure out a chap to get a neighborhood and zoning approved, yes it causes people to go off the cliff. You can call the builders and developers a misayaya ldvar avereih. But they are as much as fault as the moser. Respect others and others will respect you.

  8. The only real askan that has been a voice for the regular un-connected residents in town is being nirdaf by dishonest wheeler-dealers which don't want anyone exposing their regular rip-offs of Lakewood's taxpayers. We all see right through the fake news article. The only way to to stop the exposure is to stop the shtick. If someone does something wrong he shouldn't be able to convince naive boys to harass the one person which is helping stop the Twp's assets from being plundered by those with ill-repute.

    1. Has he moserred on individuals or not? We're not discussing the township corruption. Most people don't care that he mossered on that. We're discussing innocent yungerleit that he mossered on. Yes or no - did he or did he not mosser on individuals? We demand answers.

  10. Here goes the kw kvetch again about mesira. There was no mesira in WG, that conspiracy has been debunked many times. We are all sick of hearing about your illegal shul. Move on!!

    1. Where did you read KW here? No one even mentioned it on this thread. What are you on about?

    4. What about all the really illegal properties in Lakewood? It’s not what you know it’s who you know. If your connected to the right people then either a blind eye is turned to your proposed building or you actually get help with your building. If your opponents are well connected to the right people then they’ll pull all the strings possible to stop you. There are people on the township committee who help there cronies in underhand (or do we mean under table!) deals. Everyone knows that and everyone knows who.

  11. This was the reference to kw for those that need help finding it.

    1. Stop with the ridiculously overused "Mesira" card. The way the term is thrown around these days by dishonest developers - every time they're caught doing shtick at the expense of the neighborhood - is no different than using the "race" card when certain people are caught stealing.

And besides, those who actually learned the halachos and are not ignorant, would know that this terminology has no shaychus to neighbors hiring lawyers to protect their property interests.

Stop with the stupid mesirah card already. You're cheapening it so much that when there's finally a real case nobody will take it seriously anymore.

    2. Reminds me if the Rabbi who spoke against chilul shabbis and the president asked him afterwards why he embarrassed him in front of everyone

    3. All these developers and others that do shtick love calling everyone else moisrim and have no problem hiring lawyers and taking appropriate action when it comes to their own pocketbooks. They're real hypocrites!

    4. To the person who took that as a reference to kw:
You’re obviously obsessed. Time to go to therapy when all your life your eating, breathing and dreaming about kw and how wrong they were for wanting a decent shul. Seriously, it’s time for therapy. Refuah shelaima.

  12. I am obsessed with one thing, that is watching your ridiculous comments and attacks. It is extremely amusing to me and many others in this town. Besides that was clearly a reference to kw so not sure why you say I’m obsessed. Do you really think I am breathing and dreaming about kw? Sorry to bust your bubble but I like most of Lakewood could not care less about you and your shul I am simply amused and entertained by your craziness.

  16. It’s hard to get along with nazis. How can you judge us when we don’t have a seat for our kids in shul?

There’s nothing mentshlich about trying to build a illegal shul in middle of nowhere with nowhere near enough parking, ignore neighbors concerns and calls to negotiate and call anyone who disagrees with your holy opinion nazis, mushchasim, mizera amalek amongst others. The kw kvetch is not the one to lecture anyone about mentshlichkeit.

    1. Nebach you have to live with guilt of stopping a shul
Of ignoring a psak din yes all neighboring issued were addressed in bais din.
Guilt of denying people to daven in a nice comfortable bais medrash
Guilt of denying children to be able to daven next to their father
      Guilt of mesirah
Guilt of being controlled and acting out of kinah and sinah
Guilt of forcing mispalelim to daven in dangerous conditions
Guilt of not having the ability for ladies to daven in a proper ezras nashim
Guilt in making one of the biggest chilul hashems and supporting machlokes

    2. I'm not from Westgate, but one thing is clear. You don't have any heter to do anything wrong in the name of Torah. If there was indeed some kind of "mesira" (which is a overly abused term) then there must've been some kind of not legal shtick done by the people wanting the shul. Remember, that the end does NOT justify the means. Lakewood is not a hefkervelt. Live with it.

      Delete
    3. The Torah also doesn’t let people comment on something when they never heard BOTH sides. Makes no difference whether your from Westgate or not. Halacha (unlike Lakewood law) doesn’t change based on who your connected to.

      Delete
    4. To anon 12:14 -

Again. I’m not from WG. But the pro-shul clan is screaming about the other side and using the Mesirah card. That means that they’re admitting to doing things wrong. In that case, they should know that the ends never justify the means.

      Delete
    5. It doesn’t make sense that you’re not from Westgate - you have too much inside information. Unless of course your one of the machers that needs to have a finger in every pie in order to make yourself feel important?

      Delete
    6. To anon 12:19 -

Once again. I am not from WG. And that seems to be a brocha because of all the infighting happening there.

I glean whatever information I have from all your comments. And again, the mesirah card cannot be only be used when someone did something wrong that was exposed.

The bottom line is that the people at fault for all this frustration are the builder that crammed in so many units into an area that’s not big enough for this population, and the zoning/planning boards that approved this super dense mini-city without considering or caring about the bitter consequences and the machlokes it would cause.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that our land use boards have learned from their mistakes. They still do whatever the developers tell them.

      Delete
    7. The blame for a lack of shuls is not on the builder it is on those that insisted in mob rule of 1 rav and had short sighted vision of what a large development with 900 families needs.
They chased away anyone who tried to open a shul and kept a community hostage with no adequate shuls. Had they allowed others to flourish westgate would have had 25 shuls. There is no community in the world that has only one shul for these many mishpachos besides for chasidim.
Looking back, all it caused is machlokes and no shuls while outside westgate shuls are flourishing and growing

    8. It’s called “selfish” in a nutshell. People who are so insecure that they desperately need everyone to follow their lead.

  19. I have no guilt feelings for a few reasons.
    1. I was not involved at all and don’t live or daven there
    2. Even the people that were involved have nothing to feel guilty about. Most of your comment is lies but I like the last one that your neighbors are guilty of supporting machlokes. Excuse me at best they are as guilty as you since it takes two to tangle. Besides they did everything possible to avoid machlokes. It is only one side making and supporting machlokes and it’s clear which side that is.

    1. If you’re not involved and don’t live there as you Claim then you must be friends with one of the opponents otherwise you wouldn’t be have so much inside knowledge

    2. You are guilty of being a shakran but even more guilty of being a fool.
A fool sticks his mose where it dont belong.
