  1. Brisker Rav and the Chazon Ish did not take money from the Tziyonim either. Didn't know of Rabbi Eidelstein shaychus to these gedolim!

    1. I didn't know that an anonymous eitznik whining from Lkwd has more shaychus to their daas torah than the Rosh Yeshiva shlita! Amazing chiddush!

    2. כל המבזה תלמיד חכם אין לו רפואה למכתו! איי מה התאווה לכתוב מה שכתבת אם יקבל דין כזה?? פשוט שטוף בתאוות.

    3. First. The Chazon Ish was not against Ponovezh taking money from the government.

Second. The discussion is about how time is supposed to be spent on lag ba'omer and if the mitzvas hayom is to continue learning Torah in yeshiva or go to Meron, join the heavy crowds in the celebration, and not learn.

The Answer proffered by the Rosh HaYeshiva Shlita to those who asked him, is to skip travelling to the Meron ritual and not interrupt the learning.

Of course, there were many extra chumros that these gedolim had in other areas that the general public cannot be expected to keep, due to severe hardships it would impose - but that should never be used as an excuse to say that we also don't have to learn the heilige Torah on any given day.

    4. Come bein hazmanim and a whole month of no learning with bochrim going meshuge mamash and running off to all sorts of road trips hashem yishmireinu (TV's in the room etc )

But getting uplifted in Miron? Nope. We dont to that

    5. Anon 9:34 - Reb Gershon spends a month of no learning? What does one have to do with the other?

The true answer is that Bein Hazmanim is necessary, as a break to be able to continue learning. Rav SHteinman was steadfast in his refusal to cancel or curtail Bein Hazmanim. Meron on Lag Ba'omer is not our minhag, and we have no reason or excuse to go there. 'Uplifting' is not a Jewish concept. A joint can do the same thing and the local Gedolim strictly forbade it.

  2. So the rant and sensational post on the scoop seems to be spreading more falsehoods to undermine lakewood rosh yeshivas by anonymous askanim. They have no shame to stoop so low and publicly defy the Roshei yeshiva after it blew up in their face.

This is exposing more of what this event is about.
The sponsors should apologize to the lakewood community who supports them for going against the will of the rosh yeshivas and schools.

    1. The scoop is not "anonymous askonim"

    2. The Chutzpa was staggering!
Printing a letter against the Roshei Hayeshiva without even asking them all their narishe questions. Surmising that they were fed misinformation. Then to top it all off printing only sycophantic comments that underscore the azus.
כל המבזה תלמיד חכם אין לו רפואה למכתו , indeed.

    3. The sponsors dont have to apologize to the "lakewood community" (whatever thats supposed to mean). The Roshei Yeshivos and the schools do not OWN lakewood.

    4. Yes, but they can't lie to people

  3. Just an observation:If you choose to attend the event, do it with a commitment not to rail against the schools who might not take your kids.

  4. What's the Poop's obsession with guns and shooting? Every day another picture, article, write-up. I guess if you're into that, you can go to concerts that the Rabbanim don't approve, and to spread lies. We have lost our derech and our willingness to be led by our gedolim and Rabbanim.
They're now calling it "zemiros" instead of tehillim, and not denying the Chabad link, but denying "meshichistim". Bottom line is they were caught in a lie.

להזהיר גדולים על הקטנים פרשת אמור

Skip Fridays event and spare your kids.

Years ago a prominent member of their following made a statement "the world is made of two people lubavitchers and not yet lubavitchers" that cuts right to it.

These people are smooth operators and know the melacha how to tamper with a kids neshama. Video images are potent messages in the young and impressionable. These individuals have a campaign to recite what they call "12 Pesukim" that is fictitious some of these verses are not from Tanach. When a kid yells out these verses thrusting his hand upwards and punctures the air for the entire assemblage, to hear and view it places doubt in a childs mind about his upbringing, the meticulous and painstaking unvarnished Torahs sinaitic mesorah you and your spouse put so much hard work to inculcate.

As per the title of this piece you get youthful convert results in just minutes thats the real end game of יחד כל ילדי ישראל using music and Lag Baomer as a cover. It's neat, it's slick and it works.

The parallel world these guys live in and wish to promulgate to everyone else can turn your family's Emunah upside down in minutes.

Listen up people so you've got a beautiful heritage keep your gospel to yourself.

  6. The Minchus Eluzur wrote against going to Meron for Lag baOmer, but when he went to visit Palestine, he made sure to be in Meron for Lag baOmer.
And he didn't take a horse and buggy like my mother's cousins, he took an "automobile"

  7. Sick and disgusting how the poop is brazenly spitting at the roshei yeshiva who said not to go to the concert by spreading anonymous misinformation
The sponsors should pull out immediately
Lakewood can not tolerate such a open revolt on its leaders and the askanim stand by and say nothing.

  8. Sick and disgusting how you can say lashon hara. Just because there were several mistakes made by both parties does not give you or anyone else a right to speak lashon hara
