Former President Donald Trump today slammed the Biden administration’s sudden recommendation that states and companies pause distribution of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine after reports of a rare blood clotting issue.
“The Biden administration did a terrible disservice to people throughout the world by allowing the FDA and the CDC to call a ‘pause’ in the use of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine,” Trump wrote in a statement from his Save America PAC, suggesting politics at play, including a biased support for the Pfizer vaccine by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. “The results of this vaccine have been extraordinary but now its reputation will be permanently challenged. The people who have already taken the vaccine will be up in arms, and perhaps all of this was done for politics or perhaps it’s the FDA’s love for Pfizer.”
Trump’s statement pointed back to the political play of Pfizer and the FDA in withholding official approval of the vaccine until after President Joe Biden declared victory in the 2020 presidential election.
“The FDA, especially with long-time bureaucrats within, has to be controlled,” Trump’s statement continued. “They should not be able to do such damage for possibly political reasons, or maybe because their friends at Pfizer have suggested it.
“They’ll do things like this to make themselves look important. Remember, it was the FDA working with Pfizer, who announced the vaccine approval two days after the 2020 Presidential Election.”
Trump added he was well aware of Pfizer’s alleged political bias, something he had long rebuked amid the presidential election campaign and Operation Warp Speed.
“They didn’t like me very much because I pushed them extremely hard,” Trump’s statement concluded. “But if I didn’t, you wouldn’t have a vaccine for 3-5 years, or maybe not at all. It takes them years to act!
“Do your testing, clean up the record, and get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine back online quickly. The only way we defeat the China Virus is with our great vaccines!”
A statement from Johnson & Johnson does acknowledge an issue with the safety of its vaccine.
“The safety and well-being of the people who use our products is our number one priority,” J&J wrote in a statement amid reports of the pause. “We are aware of an extremely rare disorder involving people with blood clots in combination with low platelets in a small number of individuals who have received our COVID-19 vaccine.
“In addition, we have been reviewing these cases with European health authorities. We have made the decision to proactively delay the rollout of our vaccine in Europe. We have been working closely with medical experts and health authorities, and we strongly support the open communication of this information to healthcare professionals and the public.” (Newsmax)

ReplyDeleteHere is a question for the genius. If Pfizer truly held off announcing the vaccine till after the elections, and that cost lives, why did he not realize that in the beginning? If he wanted to save lives, why did he pick fights with the people he needed to help him?
Trump is a truly dangerous man, and we should not dismiss him as just a crank, a loser and a moron. He is all of those, but that does not make him less dangerous.
Where was the science of those who died after taking the pfizer or Moderna. You cant pick and choose to follow science because you hate Trump

DeleteSome people who died, took the pfizer or moderna vaccine before dying. There were no more deaths among the vaccinated people than the general populace. Which is why scientists figured out that there was no reason to be worried.
These blood clots, although they are a miniscule amount of those who took the vaccine, seem strange, and therefore they have decided to check things out. You see, knowledge requires constant checking and testing, it is foolish to jump to conclusions based on 'gut feelings'. Which is why they are checking.
Trump wouldn't know what knowledge was if it hit him in his great gut with the speed of a jet engine.
Its very disappointing to see how many misguided people still think Trump is a normal person and not a sick person. There is no question that we owe him an hakaras hatov but at the end of the trump is a very sick person and it was always about trump and I heard form a wealthy person that told me he knows first hand that Trump swindled hundredths of millions of dollars out of frum people through his shady deals.

When a person wants to know a halacha, he asks a Rov. Wealthy people are often involved in business, and they can tell you what is happening in the world of business. When Rabbonim want to know something about business, they ask businessmen.

Eventually the only people that would lend him money were the Russians. Now he found a new way to swindle people. He made up a stupid conspiracy that the elections were stolen from him, and told people that if they gave him money every month, he would fight that 'steal'. Of course, the whole thing was a lie, the elections weren't stolen, and the money given to his personal back pocket will not change the results. But people are still donating monthly to him. Imagine that, the 'billionaire president' is shnorring money as though he was someone at the back of Zichron Moshe!
And people just continue to believe.
Do u actually know that the election was not stolen? There are thousands of affidavits from people risking their lives that there was much fraud. We are living in crazy times. It's very hard to disregard the mainstream media, but you have to if you're looking for the truth.

DeleteThe 'risk of life' is some more fake news. The only people who risked their lives were those who were doxxed by Trump. Nobody suffered at all for signing stupid affidavits, and their lives were certainly not in any danger.

Ask yourself who has the most incentives to make sure their vaccines are the ones to use and who would be willing to lobby and "bribe" to make sure the other gets recalled...
Trump is a nut and I don't think the pausing of vaccines was for political reasons.
