-Coalition talks between the Likud and the Yamina party hit an impasse on Wednesday,a with the Likud accusing Yamina leader MK Naftali Bennett of making excessive demands for his seven seats. In a statement released Wednesday afternoon, the Likud also said Bennett was preparing to lead a left-wing government supported by Yesh Atid, Labor, Meretz and the Joint List.
“Due to his uncontrollable ambition to become prime minister at any price – with just seven seats – he is prepared to empower the left with a coalition of 50 MKs from the left and the Joint List.

“Bennett is doing this against the will of the voters who gave 65 seats for a completely right-wing government, and against his clear promise not to sit under Yair Lapid and the left, and despite the fact that a prime minister can’t govern with seven seats.

  1. Moshe, do yourself a favor and stay far away from the zoning board. Especially since you work for BMG.
Everybody loves you and we want you to stay that way.

    1. If he doesn't make sure to recuse himself from many applications, there will be complaints filed against him.

    2. Why did they choose a newbie Glieberman to be a regular member instead of appointing their longstanding alternate members first??

      Something smells fishy?

  4. Oy very! Israeli police brutally attacked a Rav in Meah Shearim and pulled him by the beard!

Oh wait, that was Peleg ruffians in Ponovezh... I guess we only report on the "right" sort of violence against Chareidim here.

  5. So Bruce Stern has a relationship with BMG, Gliberman is BMG VP.
Why cant the township comittee get some senior or someone else to be on the boards??
There are numerous cases against these boards because they dont give public any input and manly rubber stamp the developers.

  6. The Committee members are very aware that there are many individuals that are willing to join the planning and zoning boards. But they're not interested in giving the little guy a voice on these boards. They'd rather take care of their buddies by placing them in positions that will benefit certain projects.

  7. AN OUTRAGE! Haven't any of you seen what the BOE attorney is doing, switching positions, after Lang won, trying to get the commissioner overturn the victory that could cost us hundreds of millions of dollar if he succeeded, just because he does not want his district to be said to not be giving a good education due to the lack of funding? And they are appointing him again? Does anyone care?
