- At the zoning board last night the attorney for the county line application asked to postpone the hearing after Coventry square homeowners hired a lawyer to oppose. The board deliberated for 15 minutes and eventually  granted to table it and it wont be heard before July. The applicant will have to re notice.
- The federal government is calling for a pause in use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine after 6 cases of a blood clotting disorder. A major setback for the national vaccination campaign. Ocean county will offer Moderna vaccine instead to those who scheduled appts but will have to reschedule.

  3. Our anti-vaxxer community has been inundating us with propaganda, suggesting that there is a massive cover-up of side effects of the vaccines.
    Here we have 6 cases, a tiny number, out of 7 million doses given. And they have already paused the program. Even if those cases were linked to the vaccine, it would be still a be a worthwhile trade off against this terrible illness. Yet they did not take that into account and paused the whole thing.
    If that isn't enough to convince the anti-vaxxers, it is proof that logic was never their reasoning, and they truly have nothing to show for themselves.
