Rabbonim advise to refrain from receiving this vaccine

  1. Why are so many prominet Rabonim unwilling to sign?

  2. The same doctors (including Frum Doctors,) and the CDC who say the corona shot is safe, say the Gardisal is safe .
If Our Rabbanim are now saying Gardisal is medically unsafe ( read the whole letter )
Doesn’t that call into question the corona vaccine as well ??
If you don’t have an underlying condition, why would you risk taking the corona vaccine ?

    1. This isn't true.

    2. 1) No
      2) To prevent yourself from falling ill, and causing others to fall ill, or worse

The same Rabbanim who are saying not to take this vaccine (because they believe the benefit of this specific vaccine is lower for our community, therefore not justifying the risk) believe in AND HAVE TAKEN vaccines for COVID. So you’re not just twisting the truth, you’re a straight up liar.

(Also, you’re possibly liable halachically for the misinformation you’re spreading but I’ll leave that to Hashem to judge.)

The same doctors say smoking is dangerous. So now we should all go out and smoke.

Those doctors are members of the homo sapiens species, and if it is obvious that they are wrong, so are all of the homo sapiens species. Ergo, the Rabbis are also wrong.
Oooops, so now we are back in the loop, getting dizzy.

  3. I understand the limited benefit, but can someone explain what the consequences are? What does life altering mean?

    2. It means the rabbonim want to asser it because of the behavior it may encourage, but for some reason they feel they need the fig leaf of wacko anti-vaxxers as well.

    3. personally know of individuals who have had major behavioral issues following taking they wish they had no symptoms of prior. it is a very dangerous vaccine and should be avoided at all costs. None of this garbage against the rabbis, please. They know much more than they are saying.

    4. Mad Max - that makes a ton of sense. When people reach puberty, behavioral issues may show up. That is the same time that girls are advised to take the Gardisil vaccine.
It seems you know much less than you are saying.

    5. I am referring to irrational fears and phobias that presented in individuals right after getting the shot. This is not a puberty induced reaction.

    6. I didn't say "garbage against the rabbis". OTC - I understand them completely if they want to ban the vaccine. I just think that to present it as some sort of health-motivated measure when it is clearly religiously motivated is counterproductive.

    7. Mad Max - 'irrational fears and phobias', Hmmmm, that reminds me of something, could you help me pinpoint it?

  4. Rav Chaim and Rav Aaron Leib also said that bochurim should get married at eighteen. In such a society, indeed, there is no need for Gardasil. In a society such as ours, the aforementioned Gedolim might agree that Gardasil is all too neccessary. Baasi rahk leorer.

    1. so if your kid goes off, tell them to take the gardasil (along with a good BC) But there's no need for good frum kids to risk their fertility for it.

    2. It's q good thing to know that the heorah of anon 8:46 AM means as much as the Rabbonim who signed the letter

    3. I wasn't chas veshalom disagreeing with the Rabbanim. I was saying that the Gedolei Eretz Yisroel are dealing with a situation where people get married at eighteen. In a situation where that is not the case, it is POSSIBLE that the Gedolei Eretz Yisroel would be hesitant to forbid Gardasil. Obviously, we are dealing with a very sad situation. If you recommend it when it's not neccesary, it can lead to a terrible pirtzah. On the other hand, if you forbid it, you could be causing people to die young and leave yesomim. So we have to be very careful issuing a decision either way in this serious matter and we can't cite Gedolim who live in a society which is still run ahl taharas hakodesh.

  5. So we assume frum people won't do such things? Frum people are just as likely to do bad things just like anyone else. Or is it that frum people who do such things deserve to get sick?
