 -Misaskim has opened a hotline to assist American families who cannot reach family members in Eretz Yisroel The hotline number is 718-854-4548. Do not call unless you have an immediate family member missing.

-Witness: We were at the entrance, we decided we wanted to get out and then the police blocked the gate, so whoever wanted to get out could not get out, in that hurry we fell on each other, I thought I was going to die. I saw people dead next to me. " One eyewitness said  that he had seen the bodies of two dead children. "It happened in a split second; people just fell, trampling each other. It was a disaster," another witnesses said. Two different witnesses told Haaretz that a police barricade prevented people from exiting and caused overcrowding.

-MDA Spokesman said that the casualties were as a result of a stampede and not a collapse. Initial reports say that a  blockade on a narrow stairwell with thousands trapped caused people to slip on the steps which resulted in people trampling over each other RL.

A Stampede caused people to trample over each other during the hadlaka of The Toldos Aharon Rebbe in Miron.  As a result Over 150 people injured  many critical.

 The hadlaka was cancelled as  crews rushed to the scene. Reports of unconscious  patients rushed to hospital. Including children. Please daven . Horrific scene of  bodies lined up covered in Zaka bags R"L

Large minyanim gathering in shuls across Eretz yisrael and all over davening for the injured. 

-Due to the tragedy many kehilos in Lakewood are scaling back on the hadlakos or canceling.

6 IDF Helicopters are transporting injured to the hospitals. CPR performed on many people treated at the scene.  

-Police stopped all buses from coming to meron. All buses have been turned back to where they left from.

- MDA Spokesman said that the casualties were as a result of a stampede and not a collapse. MDA medics and paramedics provided medical care to 50 casualties with 20 in critical condition.

- Cellphone service blackout and worried relatives cant get hold of people. 

-110 years ago a porch collapsed in Miron on lag baomer night with 10 people who died and were buried on  the mountain.
