DeleteThe Lakewood scoop is claiming that two Mosdos retracted their ban on the event tomorrow. Of course, these Mosdos remain nameless, and almost all Mosdos understand that it is not appropriate for anonymous people to waltz into town and make puppet shows, concerts, raffles and whatnot, and blame Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai for it.

ReplyDeleteThe M"B is pretty clear that you have to wait until tomorrow morning for pretty much everything because you need part of the 33rd day, seems like there might be a Heter when participating in a Hadlakah or if someone anyways is keeping more than 33 days, but otherwise, not sure how anyone can listen to music tonight...
It’s all lies. Hatzalah didn’t get a heter and if they did it wasn’t from a Rav. To put on a show when it’s assur to listen to music is against halacha. To put on a show while others yidden were smashed and suffocated to death is against being a human.
