- Multiple Gazan channels are reporting that, for the first time in several months, Internet, electric, and communication services are entirely disabled in the south and center of the Gaza Strip.
Report from Axios by Barak Ravid that while Biden wants to keep pushing for a deal, all of his advisors and cabinet members think that a new proposal will be dead on arrival. Ravid writes that "the murder of six hostages by Hamas, among them American citizen Hersh Golberg-Polin, and the group's new demand to release 100 more Palestinian prisoners who are serving life sentences for murdering Israelis caused significant pessimism at the White House." - Terror attack: 3 Israelis killed in terror shooting at crossing between West Bank and Jordan at Allenby bridge. In the Jordan valley.
The attack was carried out by a truck driver who had arrived from Jordan waiting at a inspection at the terminal and opened fire at several of the crossing’s workers, killing three. He was shot dead by security forces. Thr victims are Yohanan Shchori, 61, of Ma'ale Efrayim, and Yuri Birnbaum, 65, of Na'ama.
- Over 50 rockets fired at the north in Israel overnight by Hezbollah with some damage to a buildingin in Kiryat Shmona, no injuries reported
- Gaza: Per the Washington Post, the Biden admin is "indefinitely postponing" their updated ceasefire proposal. American officials believe a ceasefire before Biden’s term ends in January is now “unattainable.” The main reasoning behind this decision is Sinwar’s new demand for the release of murderers in exchange for Israeli civilian hostages, not just soldiers like the earlier proposal. Israel is expected to transition to Phase D of the fighting, which is a counterinsurgency campaign.
- The Lebanese PM told Al-Jazeera that Israel had passed messages to the Lebanese government that in the event of a ceasefire in Gaza, Israel is NOT interested in also pursuing a ceasefire with Hezbollah. The secret negotiations that the Americans have been running have made zero progress, and Hezbollah is not interested in withdrawing from the border whatsoever.Israel will have to move them back to the Litani River with a military operation,
-Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's remarks at the beginning of the cabinet meeting: …” Last weekend, the German newspaper Bild published an official Hams document that reveals its plan of action: to sow division within us, to wage psychological warfare on the families of the abductees, to exert internal and external political pressure on the Israeli government, to tear us apart from the inside, and to continue the war until they defeat of Israel.
Most Israeli citizens do not fall into this trap of Hams. They know that we are committed with all our might to achieve the goals of the war - to eliminate Hams, to return all our abductees, to ensure that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel, and to safely return our residents to the north and south to their homes.
