How can the Belz Rabbonim give a hechsher on meat in Lakewood? Is it shechted here?
ReplyDeleteHow does the kcl give a hashgacha on meats here in Lakewood?
DeleteI believe the hashgacha is just over the packaging and labeling, they aren't actually overseeing the shchita etc.
DeleteA town full of corruption using resources and funds that belong for the public and diverting it to the well connected. The sad thing is that this corruption is done by unzere.
ReplyDeleteThey have hurt the tzibbur with quality of time ruining peoples lives with the traffic that effects everyone's daily living.
There are asid to give a din vecheshbon on using and abusing the taxpayers and residents
Lsta. Charged parents in Jackson 80 dollars per application that's a few thousand children where is all that money going if you speculate
ReplyDeleteits over 350,,000. Money taken from families for a govt agency.
Its worse for Toms River where most families routes didn't even get picked up. But you can't get Aid in lieu of unless you pay. This is a racket.
DeleteTraffic this morning on Spruce Street/Washington/Vine was a complete standstill. A normal 3 minute drive to my child's playgroup took me over 20 minutes and I ended up parking and walking the last few blocks because Spruce was a complete parking lot both directions! And now they want to put a daycare at the corner of Washington and Spruce... It's beyond frustrating.
ReplyDeleteWell if they do the traffic study today they may have very good results as not too many cars are passing the area an hour…
Deletei dont own a car and have HUD, I love living in this ir hatorah, yes there are some small inconveniences but I know l live in a place run as close to under the hadracha of Daas Torah as possible.
ReplyDeleteSure of Coles, Lichtenstein, Am haaratzim
DeleteYou are very self centered. You don't care about other yidden. If its good for you, all is well.
DeleteUnfortunately our supposed leaders are as well
DeleteAre all girls in school?

Boys in yeshivas?

DeleteSamar the Reb Zalman Leib faction and Belz girls schools hasn't opened up yet due to financial difficulties
DeleteBoth the Satmar Rebbe and the Belzer Rebbe are very wealthy people. Why aren't they each taking care of the financial gap which the schools need to begin the year already?!?
DeleteLSTA should be audited they are getting millions of public funds to control the private busing in Lakewood and surrounding towns. Time for oversight committee to get involved and disclose all salaries and spending to disclose if any schools are getting preferable treatment etc
ReplyDeleteStop complaining, vote for VAAD endorsed candidates! Quality of life is wonderful. Bussing is great.
ReplyDeleteOf course. This is the best, until next generation
DeleteWhy is litvish lakewood not supporting local chasidishe mosdos?
ReplyDeleteWhere are the rich developers who sold them their houses and the Brooklyn Bridge
Why did the Brooklyn chassidim move to Lakewood with no financial plan to ensure they will have mosdos for their children?
DeleteI usually get so annoyed with the lack of proofreading of the articles on this blogspot. But today I couldn't be annoyed because I couldn't stop laughing. Here's what I mean:
ReplyDelete"Hundreds from Panama jewish community gathered together this morning at 6am for a kabolas panic of The gedolei EY who are raising funds on behalf of Keren Olam Hatorah."
Was the panic due to the extreme awe due to the gathering of Gedolei Hatorah or was it just a happy panic due to the the visit of such Chashuv Gedolim?:)
Same here
DeleteWhat's the deal with the empty buses driving around Lakewood every morning starting at 6:30 AM?
ReplyDeleteIt's for all the mesivta boys who come home at 11 and the routes start at 6:30 when davening is at 7:40 or 8. They can't make these busses. they carpool or hitch. Don't judge - wait until you have mesivta boys. the schedule is grueling!
DeleteThe real question is why do the runs start at 6:30?????
Exactly! There needs to be a better solution. Its not right to waste so much of our money on this absolute bal tashchis!
