Satmar Rebbe Rav Zalman spoke out against Agudas Yisrael for their recent statement calling on the Biden administration not to meddle with the judicial reform debate in Israel. Speaking on the yartzeit of the satmar rebbe Rav Yoel, the rebbe attacked aguda for being quiet about the Medinah and not criticizing it and instead mixing in to the US policy to not interfere with the state of Israel. The rebbe called the statement a Busha and Charpah.

- Georgia indictement Trump was charged with RICO - Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations - a count which is frequently used to try mafia figures, cartel leaders and gangland bosses. convicted on all charges, he faces 71 years in prison - and state charges, unlike federal, cannot be pardoned by a president.

- Trump campaign responds to Georgia indictment The campaign statement called Fani Willis, the Fulton County district attorney, a “rabid partisan” who based her two-year probe on “fabricated accusations.” It continued: “Ripping a page from Crooked Joe Biden’s playbook, Willis has strategically stalled her investigation to try and maximally interfere with the 2024 presidential campaign and damage the dominant Trump campaign.”

-Alan Dershowitz said that four of the charges being brought against former President Donald Trump in the Georgia grand jury indictment are designed to bring “quick, quick” convictions to keep Trump from running in the 2024 presidential election, setting a legal precedent that would create “the most dangerous threat to democracy,” during an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News Monday night.

Dershowitz said four of the charges brought against Trump – including charges for violating Georgia’s “Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations” (RICO) Act and multiple conspiracy charges – were among the “weakest cases” he’s ever seen brought against a presidential candidate, Dershowitz speculated that these charges were designed to get a “quick, quick” conviction, even though the conviction could be overturned on appeal at a later date.

. “Anybody can prosecute anybody, and we’re opening the door to prosecution of Democrats by Republicans, Republicans by Democrats. It’s what Alexander Hamilton wrote in The Federalist – it’s the most dangerous threat to democracy. And we’re seeing it unfold in front of our eyes, very, very tragically

“I’m not a Republican. I’m not a Trump supporter, but I care deeply about the Constitution. I care deeply about preserving the rule of law, and we’re seeing it being frittered away for partisan political purposes,” said Dershowitz.

    1. Yes, the Chasidim of Jackson are sick of being abused by Central Hatzalah. They took members from the neighborhood begrudgingly, but then harassed them for not taking enough calls. The members don't want to travel across Lakewood just to meet quotas.

  2. The rebbe called the statement a Busha and Charpah Quite ironic that the Satmar Rebbe would be on the side on of those who support the Israeli supreme court which is the probably the strongest source those who fight Torah in Israel have. To the extent that he even uses their slogan of "busha" Why is Agudah opposing Biden's efforts to support the Israel supreme court any different than the Satmar public demonstrations clearly intended for a non-Jewish audience and to influence how non-Jewish politicians act and think with regard to the state of Israel?

  3. Just asking
Would Jackson Hatzolah volunteers not respond to a call in a shul during a covid pandemic if their personal belief is against having covid minyanim even for survivors who have antibodies?
Cuz that's what actually happened with Lakewood during covid.

    1. They would probably respond to a Covid Shul just as much as they would respond to a Church or a Mosque. Remember that Rabbonim assered shuls during Covid, so Covid Shul = Church/Mosque.

    2. That is untrue. Lakewood Hatzola was responding during covid even to shul's.

    3. Do your research several members threatened not to serve Lakewood commons and other shuls that were open.

    4. What a member chose to do privately is irrelevant. This was not an organizational decision.

    5. It was more than just one member the organization stood silent and let it happen

  4. Jackson should cover Westgate and take calls there. Last year someone was in cardiac attest and was niftar early shabbos morning, the closest member came from the prospect area

    1. Royal Grove is further from Westgate than Prospect but that’s besides the point.

  5. Moadim not as cheap as it used to be and local stores have competitive sales and better quality on many items

    1. I've seen better sales at local stores than moadim l'simcha. Sales usually start after the moadim l'simcha ordering deadline so the pressure to order is there. Wish the sales would start now so you know what to buy for the best price.

  6. Wg shouldn’t have too many calls on shabbos. There aren’t many seats in shul, from some comments here it sounds like most leave wg to daven because their shul couldn’t expand.

    3. No one leaves because the shul couldn’t expand. They just squish like sardines in dangerous conditions because of other people’s senseless jealousy.

  7. Why would they stuff like sardines if there are so many empty seats? And why would anyone be jealous? What’s there to be jealous of?

    1. There’s a lot to be jealous about

    2. IMHO there’s a lot to be jealous about. They have a Ruv who they really respect. The Shul is a beautiful example of a real makom Torah utefilla. There is an incredible sense of achdus that is fostered there. The warmth of the Shul is palpable. They go out of their way to cater to the needs of the mispallilim. And the list goes on!
