  1. Found a drill in the street, oak/vine area. Looks like it fell off a truck. If you are missing one, let me know.

  3. Ok I’m a foodie that lives out of town and my personal opinion is that Lakewood doesn’t need a kosher sports bar. Go to deal for that.

There’s so many restaurants in the area, a sports bar is not the right atmosphere or chill for such a town.

  4. Will the sports bar have a heimishe hashgucheh from the new kehilas charedim of lakewood

  5. I'm not a yeshiva guy and am a foodie. I hope no one gives this sports bar a hechsher.
It's disrespectful and a poke in the eye of the yeshivish community.
It isn't true that everything that's legal is acceptable.

  6. They have a Shule on county line where people daven late. Who needs this in Lakewood

    2. Daavening late is a problem because…because why?

    3. At least they’re davening in a shul…

    1. In Lakewood they're posted on the electronic billboards.
What does this word newspaper mean? We don't have them today.

  8. Lakewood would benefit from an updated hashgacha that covers both kashrus and hashkafic aspects, providing assurance to Yeshivish individuals about the highest standards in all areas of Yiddishkeit.

    1. Hechsher organizations since the days in Vilna and Brisk was always on kashrus and hashkafa. A person who doesn't have yiras shamayim and appropriate hashkafa WILL compromise kashrus calling them "yeshivisha chumros"

  9. A sports bar with a hechsher would be better
right now you have people going to Finnegans Maggie's and bars all over Toms River and Jackson the atmosphere there is not good
A frum place will contain any potential yerida in ruchniyus
Lakewood is like Brooklyn it's not oblt a yeshiva town any more
    There's LBA leagues
    High end restaurants and gashmiyus
This is just to serve the olam

    1. No thank you. Anyone who wants to go to Finnegan's is welcome to do so if it means that we won't have this abomination in Lakewood. No thank you. At least those who go to the goyishe places know that they're doing something wrong. With this מקום טומאה, they'll mistakenly think that it's all kosher. No thank you.
I'll gladly partake in any protests against this place that will happen and probably organize a few myself.

    2. Do you need signs printed? Pashkevilln written? Robocalls made?
I can do it all for one easy price. There are different prices for different packages. The VIP one includes real sackcloth, not from China.

I tell you, by the time I'm done טוסטוס לא יעבור

  10. There is no excuse for a kosher sports bar. We are not allowed to be machshir the chukas akum! Any one who gives a hashgocha on such establishment should be shunned by yirei shomayim.
Not everything that is not an outright aveira is ok.

Did we lose focus and what we are here for

  12. How far away from Lakewood is far enough to have a sports bar? There are Jewish neighborhoods ten miles from Lakewood, and there will be more.

    1. I think the yeshivos should start having sports bars in their dining rooms. This will stop the bucherim from going to the bars.

    2. It's not about Lakewood! How can you call a sports bar Kosher? Do we want our children to marry yidden? We are on our way to hisbolelus.

  15. Ummm…no. The report does not say “Joe Biden may have used a pseudonym while doing business with Hunter Biden etc”. It says that he DID use a pseudonym, based on emails from Hunter’s laptop. (This is not news - it was already known.) The report further states that Hunter was cc’d ten times on emails from the pseudonym that shared his father’s schedule on that particular day. Poor Mr Comer, fishing as usual, thinks that he will find lots more emails of a more nefarious nature from the National Archives!!!! So he’s demanding that they hand over anything they have from these email addresses. I have news for Mr Comer (and for Hefkervelt): if he thinks that Uncle Joe handed over incriminating emails to the National Archives, he’s far dumber than everyone thought - and he’s pretty dumb. Really? The crafty criminal Uncle Joe, who has successfully hidden his corruption all this time despite Comer’s valiant (and ridiculously stupid) efforts, handed over incriminating emails TO THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES???!!!??? Let’s ask the Archives to go through Obama’s papers to prove he was born in Kenya, Timbuktu, whatever.
