  4. One must ask. Besides obvious politics, but is the current board really stupid? We are obviously not surviving financially and need a change. What is their proposal to the problem? The current system is obviously not sustainable. What am I missing? And even supporting the legislation is no guarantee that the problem will be fixed.
The only thing I can think of is that they are working on back door channels, and feel that they have a fix with legislation, that will eventually be presented after Murphy wins again.

    2. Hahaha!
We once trusted the asskanim. Then the government came to arrest people in Lakewood for nonsense, and we saw what the asskanim are worth. Either they don't care, or they don't know what they are doing. Either way, there is no secret plan, and when they tell you publicly that they have a plan, you can be pretty sure that they don't.

  5. I don't know about the BOE, they never were so smart, but scroll down to the second to last link to see what the Senate Appropriations Committee had to say about the court victory:

As out-of-touch as the commissioner came across, everyone is waiting to hear what she recommends. It's going to be more funding, but the question is will it just be for Lakewood, or a true remedy, a term in the formula, that will help all towns with similar demographics.

    1. I pasted the wrong link to the video. The two Senators asking about Lakewood are the majority leaders.

    2. This is not about hating but about protecting our children in the community who are being led by misguided individuals putting them in a very serious sakkana Ruchni.
This was NEVER DONE IN KLAL YISRAEL. and smack in middle of Lakewood this is going on with the made up one ocean county that was pushed by the Lakewood Vaad.
This getting together with Akum has no place in yiddishkeit and is against halacha

  7. Is no one concerned about the mask mandates propping up in NJ hospitals? Biden is doing it again with Murphy on board. It is all a lie to scare us and convince us to take the so-called improved clot shot so big pharma can make millions. It is not a coincidence this announcement made before the election. Don’t comply!!! Stay away from hospitals!

    1. Not sure how anyone except the mask-makers make money when people wear masks. And why would anyone want to go into an election making a mask mandate?

      Delete
    2. You're delusional. This is not about making money. Its about being able to impose mail in balloting to steal the election in 2024.

    3. One conspiracy theorist calls the other one delusional because he has a different conspiracy theory. Since we're just making things up, maybe you're both delusional and it's a third conspiracy?

  8. Indeed.
We should distance ourselves far from their politics
& can consider their safety ordinances myopically outdated
but give them credit for going out on a limb with what will be an unpopular move

  11. How do we know we can trust the motley crew that Lang dragged out from somewhere? Who are they? What are their qualifications? Why don't we have a public debate on the issues as we did in the olden days when there were a lot of candidates running for the BOE, so we can see who and what we are dealing with??

  12. Good idea. But they were not dragged out from somewhere. It is not easy to get people to run for elected positions that have been largely ineffective for a decade. The olden days were not do great either but better than now. Even in 2012 the last time we had a democratic election, the new BOE did not have a clue. They closed down the auto shop and sold all the equipment for pennies on the dollar, including a brand new car lift. The students and teacher were able to fix any car problem like real mechanics. The BOE members were supposedly told that the equipment was old and the kids were not interested in the course. Just typical of their ignorance and inability to promote the public interest. The list goes on. I do not remember more than a handful of wise BOE decisions.
