- Rishus cold seltzer festival coming to Lakewood: Seltzerland, the nationally touring hard seltzer tasting festival, is coming to the Jersey Shore for 2022. The event, which features more than 100 hard seltzers, will take place a Blueclaws stadium Shoretown Ballpark in Lakewood on Saturday, August 13

- Lakewood school district letter acknowledges that in fact they are providing courtesy/hazardous busing for both public and non public students, therefore parents of yeshiva students in private school who are  eligible for school lunch program should not be forced to pay the LSTA for transportation per NJ Law   Students who are unable to pay because of financial hardship shall not be excluded from receiving services described under this section. The criteria used to determine financial hardship shall be the same as the Statewide income eligibility standards established for free and reduced-price meals under the State school lunch program more

LDC meeting today request to turn the empty lot at the corner of S. Clifton Ave & rt 88 into a parking lot (former restaurant) also Westgate shopping plaza to be included in the UEZ business zone

  1. The olam has to email the dept of education and demand answers for the illegal shtick forcing private school students to pay while paying for the public school and also charging parents who can't afford it when they don't have to pay because they are eligible for the lunch program

  2. This is not fair. I am above the income limit and am drowning with health Care costs, increased tuition costs, food bills- not eligible for any government assistance, and can't afford many basic expenses after paying my mortgage (small starter home) and my other obligatory expenses. Have been digging into my savings for a while. Can't continue like this. Middle income really is suffering. Seriously considering quitting my job and only having 1 income. I think I'm working for nothing. Just paying for what everyone gets for free.

  3. The lot at the corner of main Street and route 88 was paved with gravel in anticipation of this decision last week!
