DeleteIt seems that township committee is keeping meetings online because Delia is not well. If that is the case they must either have him vacate the seat or video him on meetings. They are making a mockery out of Lakewood taxpayers..

DeleteThere’s no legitimate reason that he shouldn't be able to join his cohorts in the meeting via video conference. The people of Lakewood deserve better! Stop with the excuses already.
He's been on video link for most of 2021 township meetings. Anyone watching the videos will realize a rapid deterioration. Watching the videos makes it clear the short 25 minutes meetings are too long for him. That was in 2021. In 2022, he only appears by audio link, and has been generally silent. I would think the hatzalah member on the committee would clearly notice there a severe health issue. Unless he too, is too distracted to watch the screen.

The township committee can easily pass an ordinance at the first meeting to remove delia, but they won't. they don't care that there effectively an empty seat on the committee collecting a salary. they don't care at all about tax payer money, or if the taxpayer is getting the representation they are entitled to.
