  4. Just a comment. No one owes anyone anything and I do appreciate whatever we did get. However, Sesame used to give donuts 50 off after 730. This year they did it again the first night. When I showed up one night to get my kids a treat, we were told they stopped the program because someone will pick them up, I'm assuming will be distributed. My children and I were disappointed. While we don't get tzedeka, we really can't afford the expensive donuts. While yes, we shouldn't need it and all the arguments, fact is kids are kids and would love to be like the rest. Getting sesame donuts half off one night a chanukah, helped me be able to give it to my kids. Coming to pick it up is a knoble act. But just know that in your holy knowledge act you caused a loss for many families who now could not afford the simcha of a nice donut. Why wouldn't picking up after the sale be enough donuts and leave the sale from 730 to be 50 off? Again Noone owes us anything but this was a disappointment and loss for those of us who again aren't worthy of getting helped but at the same time can't afford much either.....please think about your altruistic actions, if in the processing you are taking away from another needy group.

    3. Yes agree the stores would de better by letting people come get it for cheaper than give ut away to someone that will distribute it to the same people

    4. You maybe surprised to learn that the bakery decided on this "noble act" too many people waiting for the discount is not good business...

    5. Why didn’t you make your own donuts with the same shear that sesame uses. Ah. The can’t come to school and float about these same donut.
Well, to say it mildly, it seems that your kids were not informed of the root to chanuka.
Don’t get dragged into the “Yavanite” culture. The Sesame donut to you is Hellenistic as could be.
My neighbor has it so do I “must”have it too. And when it’s not available as you imagined it’s the vendor Avairah.
      Get a life.

    6. On Rosh Chodesh levayah are 100% allowed. Hespaidim are not.
Also, someone who got hit by a bus is not a victim…
