  2. I just saw a tweet from the Albuquerque Police Chief:
Now that the campaign season is over, I want to clear up the claims about Albuquerque's crime stats.
Over 5 years, overall, property and violent crime are down.

Who remembers the caravan that was 'invading' America, right until the 2018 mid-terms. The next day, it vaporized and totally disappeared. Crime will be the same thing, it will cease to exist ever since the republicans have no use for it for their lies and smears.

  4. So this is how the media impressively control the narrative and shift momentum.
They comtinue to spin the election gains- convincing the demographics new to the landscape and/or largely new to politics- as a defeat, intending to turn it into a pyhrric victory.

Could the Republicans have done better last Tuesday? Sure.
Should they have done better? Most probably.
Were the MAGA election Denier primary nominees bad choices? Almost undoubtedly. As was the carpetbagging libertarian Muslim for the Republican candidate for Senate.
    Where they defeated? No
At the worst, the election was a draw.
The GOP now went a significant step further than the past couple years.
A short 2 years ago,by contrast, on election Day 2020 many Republicans were lamenting that the present party and agenda were irretrievably broken.
To their surprise, for the House they did better than expectations and better than Trump did.
    They gained a dozen seats.
And last year, that was followed with real momentum going their way.
Did the Democrats managed to stymie some of that momentum? State tuned
    It's war of attrition.

    Are there lessons? Naturally
Here is one you likely missed: the GOP strategy turning themselves into the standard bearer anti Vax anti Masking anti restrictions party( popular among our communities ) a manifest attempt for winning over the gen z voters- backfired or was insufficiently compelling as a vote getter

    1. But they lost 2 GA senate seats in 2020 and perhaps again now due to MAGA that had been firmly republican for 4 decades

    2. MAGA is a feature of the Republican Party, they aren't an insignificant minority. If you are a Republican, you are identifying with them. More than a Democrat identifies with Tlaib etc.

    3. GA happened afterwards. And probably was affected by the POTUS 45 build up to January 6th.

The media is prolonging calling the House, that the Democrats could reap the Senate momentum and the Republicans won't be able to stabilize the results and prepare themselves for the next round, the GA run off

    4. Republicans lost the 2 seats in Georgia because McConnel got Republicans to vote against a $1,500 stimulus check right before it.

The Dems ran vowing to get it passed, w3hich they did right after the election. $1,500 per person in each household will buy a lot of votes.

McConell sabotaged those seats just like he did Masters in AZ
