Thursday Nov 10 News Updates Lakewood

- Romaine lettuce pre-checked kosher brands are now only 16 oz bags but selling for the same price as the 24 oz.

-  Responding to Sharp attacks on Trump from Rupert Murdoch’s news outlets  Trump responded with a email "NewsCorp, which is Fox, the Wall Street Journal, and the no longer great New York Post (bring back Col!), is all in for Governor Ron DeSanctimonious, an average REPUBLICAN Governor with great Public Relations, who didn’t have to close up his State, but did, unlike other Republican Governors, whose overall numbers for a Republican, were just average—middle of the pack—including COVID, and who has the advantage of SUNSHINE, where people from badly run States up North would go no matter who the Governor was, just like I did!

- Decision desk election update: As things stand in the U.S. House, Republicans are projected to win 210 seats to Democrats' 192. The GOP has netted a gain of 7 seats thus far. That number is subject to change in either direction, given outstanding votes in 33 races currently too close to call.

- NJ. com  columnist says that in the republican stronghold of Ocean county known as powerful Republican county in the nation.  It's time for The Donald to wave goodbye. In  the 2020 election, the Ocean GOP managed to get out 217,740 votes for Donald Trump, giving him an 80,000-vote edge over Joe Biden  more

- Mark Levin: I have nothing against Karl Rove  But he's a predictable mouthpiece for the GOP establishment  His attack in the WSJ on Trump as the fall guy for Tuesday's disappointing outcome is more of the same. Many of the candidates for whom Rove raised funds and worked with McConnell to promote did quite poorly.  It's time for McConnell and this gang to go. They take credit for raising and spending hundreds of millions of dollars and then blame conservatives (the base) when their efforts fall short.  We don't need any lectures from them.

- FBI arrests individual identified as a muslim who threatened to attack shuls in NJ last week. The statement says  A Middlesex County, New Jersey, man was arrested today for transmitting via the internet a manifesto containing threats to attack a synagogue and Jewish people, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced. Omar Alkattoul, 18, of Sayreville, New Jersey, was arrested this morning and is charged by complaint with one count of transmitting a threat in interstate and foreign commerce on or about Nov. 1, 2022. He is scheduled to appear this afternoon  in Newark federal court. He wrote . I am a Muslim with so many regrets but I can assure you this attack is not one of them and Insha’Allah many more attacks like these against the enemy of Allah and the pigs and monkeys will come. The Jews are in fact a very powerful group in the west which is why western countries today shill for them on top of the murtadeen in Saudi Arabia and every Arab country. This attack was just to remind the Jews that as long as 1 Muslim remains in this world they will never live a pleasant life until the Muslims in Palestine, Syria, West Africa, and South Asia are living a pleasant life.

.- Romaine lettuce pre-checked kosher brands are now only 16 oz bags but selling for the same price as the 24 oz. The increase in lettuce is due to lower vegetable yields in  California’s central valley due to a set of plant viruses that continue to increase in frequency and intensity across the region. Growers report 20-acre fields without a single head of lettuce harvested.”. Inflation is also a factor.

  1. As expected they waited until after the elections to identify the individual who threatened shuls as Muslim. They were still hoping you would think it was a right wing Trump supporter. Old rule which I've consistently found to be true. The longer it takes for them to identify the suspect in a terror type attack the more certain you can be that he isn't white or able to be identified with a right wing group.

    1. stopped buying the ami long-ago because of hashkafic reasons but these tweets dumping on Trump is distasteful and a poor effort to score some points with the left or anti trumpets at mishpacha magazine.
Trump was a ohev yisroel and one of the best presidents to protect jews in the states and abroad. Make no mistake these tweets are meant to make Trump look bad and use the midterm elections to blame him.
Shame on ami they don't represent klal yisrael

the frum media is a laughing stock but the problem is that clueless politicians think they represent the orthodox community.

    5. Ami sucks! Their hashkafa has always been for the garbage bin. There are several stores in Lakewood that have refused to sell the leftist magazine for years.

    1. I walked into a Pizza store and asked for two slices and a falafel. They refused to give it to me. I gave them some money and suddenly they were willing to give it to me.
The Pizza store takes bribes, as does the grocery store.

    1. McConnell, has establishment faults, nevertheless has done a superb subtle job keeping the multiple Wings of the GOP more or less moving together

Had they heeded him and his starch shirt crowd more and Trumpican noisemakers, mark Levin included, less - undoubtedly would have done better
