when reporting price raises in supermarkets, please recognize the fact that they apply to all supermarkets, not necessarily kosher. the price of eggs has gone through the roof and that is a key ingredient in many foods. The price of oil went up by a third a year ago and that caused many raises as well.
ReplyDeleteNot kosher supermarkets products are much cheaper. Compare the prices of cereal macaroni vegetables and much more. I would recommend only buying chicken meat and milk at Jewish stores.
Deleteyou may want to double check on your prices many items are regularly cheaper at jewish stores such as squash, cherry tomatoes - I've found macaroni often goes on sale cheaper than the non Jewish stores (of late).75lb I would recommend some due diligence you may very well be paying more at shoprite even at aldi/walmart for some of your items
