    1. Wedding you gotta make. Seminary is optional. I didn't send my daughters and they all got married Baruch Hashem.

    2. Seriously?? You need to marry off your children, but have a choice of not sending them to seminary.

    3. There's a new seminary opening in EY for 10k

    4. Still 10k too expensive

    5. Nobody is forcing anyone to keep up with their friends and neighbors. People need to learn to live within their means, and stop kvetching.

    6. How nice. And turn the nose up at them because they chose to live within their means when it comes to shidduchim

    7. "thinking jew" although you "need" to marry off your daughter you dont need to marry her off in a hall with hundreds of ppl attending unless you take into account societal norms same with seminary no you dont need to go but its accepted and ppl feel the pressure just as with weddings shabbos sheva brachos and the rest..

    8. No Seminary is opening in EY for 10k. They're claiming to charge 17k and that's also not going to happen because it costs far more than that for a girl. Watch and see what happens.
The Lakewood sens are all charging between 15-17k so no great savings there either.
But no one is forcing you to send. You can opt out and send ger to work. You may regret it but it's your choice.

    1. If there was anything to it, serious people would put their names to it. Not anonymous robocalls.

  6. No reason to send to seminary in Israel. There are B'H many seminaries in Lakewood and Brooklyn. Bnos Chaim, Migdal, Lakewood Seminary, Va'at Alis in Brooklyn and another one opening next year in Lakewood. No reason that Israel is necessary.
B'H Shiras Devorah has been pointing this out to 12th Grade parents.
Yes, these girls do get married without going to eretz yisrael.

    1. Cant they put the wires underground?????? This has become a daily occurance. Cant wait for Vine to open onto Cedarbridge so we'll have all the rt 9 traffic added to our commute!

    2. Billions of dollars

    3. Another traffic nightmareNovember 30, 2022 at 2:35 PM

Every time these poles come down it’s as if another banquet hall opened up on the block! Why can’t they make an ordinance to stop it already!

  8. It's so ridiculous. Was a major hit last year. These teachers need chizuk and sharing of ideas and teaching techniques. Someone doesn't like a speaker or two that was approved by the rabbonim in charge.

  10. Why do they need chizuk?
