ReplyDeleteTonight in TRrrr Satmara upgefureneh einikel who deserted chasidus for the IDF is speaking at the Nevut lone soldier event with remarks by Toms River Rabbi Moshe Rotberg
ReplyDeleteThe Agudah gave him a platform and now he is using the recognition he got from the Moetzes to promote chardeim and chassidim to serve in the IDF
DeleteHe's also the rav of Hatzolah central jersey
DeleteSo the BOE is taking money allocated for yeshivos and private schools to pay for their bloated budget
ReplyDeleteHow is this legally allowed??
Public education is in the NJ Constitution. Not knowing this is why the chumps made a mistake with the voucher stuff and find themselves in danger of losing some, if not all, Title I, CH. 192/193. Then they will go hire some big shot lawyer and lose. Who cares about that voucher stuff if our kids can't get their earmarked services they already had? The judge called how the state is waling circles around the BOE, a Ponzi scheme. Pathetic.
Deletewhile Klal Yisroel is begging Hashem to be מעביר את רוע הגזירה the gzeras shmad that the IDF is mandating ehrliche yidden and yeshiva bocchurim to serve in the IDF.
ReplyDeleteRabonim in the Lakewood Toms River are encouraging chassidim and community members to support this shmad

And this Rabbi spoke at the Agudah convention
DeleteWhy can't you accept that there are multiple opinions on the matter? A very legitimate argument can be made that this is a milchemes mitzvah and, as such, even Talmidei Chachamim are required to serve in the army. They would argue that those who are preventing frum people from serving on the army are trying to shmad them. Instead of making angry comments, please disprove the mekoros presented by the pro-army position.

DeleteThere may be multiple opinions on the matter.
DeleteBut the interlocutor is not one of them. A marriage counselor who writes books should know his place.
Many drones today in lakewood chestnut & rt 9 area, lakewood police were notified
ReplyDeleteShame , the Kushners have such a opportunity to make a KH, instead some dumb Lubavicher is giving them misguided information
ReplyDeleteThe Magen Avraham says that the minhag is to go on a boat (that has non-Jewish sailors) even on shabbos. What's the problem of flying on shabbos?
DeleteObvious difference. The problem back then was techum shabbos. Boats back then weren't electric or motored
DeleteThis event is two slaps and the Satmar Rov's ZY"A face. First they are Chanfeing one of his family members who strayed from the path and it is done by an Agudist.
ReplyDeleteשומו שמים
ReplyDeleteIt's a event to help lone soldiers rebuild their life headlined by Captain Meisels and speech by Rabbii Rotberg from the shul in Toms River
ReplyDeleteLet the loner stay a loner, hay, he found another loner.
DeleteAgudah owns this
ReplyDeleteWhy is aguda supporting zionist shmad? Who is this "rabbi" of kushner a YUer?
ReplyDeleteMI and the BOE think everything is about them. It's about the people, the kids, the families of Lakewood. This was bound to happen. A Lang
ReplyDeleteWhat are all the VAAD saying about the BOE fiasco? No money to pay teachers? Do yeshivas have money ? What is going on??
ReplyDeleteAguda is bry proud that the smaded soldier is nebach a Satmer einekel, they think it's cute and that it makes them look good
ReplyDeleteChadorim having Mesivtos. The point is, then, the boys don't have to "fight" to get into 9th grade, and the middle boys can shteig, today only the best boys get into the best mesivtos, everyone else goes to not such good mesivtos and we are losing many boys who would really shteig if they were given a chance, Today our system is rigged for the best boys, and the rest go down the drain by not being let into top mesivtah! (fact from my own experience, and doing from research on this topic).
ReplyDeleteAnd by the way every single Cheder in the world has a mesivtah, besides in Lakewood. (weird)
And the reason is, when the first 8th grade of the Cheder needed a Mesivta, at that time around 1980, there were "some" who "claimed" Rav Aron would not like a mesivta with English. So they didn't open a mesivta, instead all boys had to go out of town, (and we know the results of that experiment) and it stayed that way.
Even though today they can have mesivtos without English, so Chadorim should open mesivtos, give our precious boys a chance, not make them a tax write-off. They will go from 8th to 9th grade, in peace and they will all shteig, and we will have beautiful Kall Yisroel. As opposed to today when we have a elitist system, and we only care about the best, and the rest fail (see Rabbi Benders new book about that).
Another problem, any boy who makes it into the elite mesivtos, are automatic Baly Gayvah, ha "I" made it, you didn't. (a bal gavoah will never be a Gadol Beyisreol etc..).
And a mesivtah that is elitest can never put out pure Gedolim! So Kall yisroel is losing out big time.
Also, many boys who are rejected from the top mesivtos, stop learning all together, or don't really give it their all, because how come I wasn't let in. I'm junk? So, it kills their learning for life!! (we are losing great Rabbonim and Gedolim and Rabbyim etc.. because of this terrible system).
And one more problem, in 7th and 8th grade instead of teaching the boys Gemarah Rashi, and boys will shteig on their level, (like Kall Yisroel did for the last 100 years and put out Gedolim etc..) , we are teaching "meforshim" (way above their heads), all in the name of - "he has to go to mesivtah!"
So, many boys, in 7th and 8th grade are losing it already in their young age, because they can't understand the meforshim which is above their level. We only care about the best boys, everyone else can fail!
and then in 9th grade+ we pack in more meforshim, to be able say "we are the best mesivtah". (when it's way above their heads).
The whole system is rotten and elitist, and needs a big fix please.
This system is killing Kall Yisroel.
There is much more to say about this, but this should be an eye opener for everyone especially all the clueless people who commented that Chadorim don't need Mesivtos. Think a little, before you make comments!
The problem isn't the elitist. The problem is the bochur who doesn't get accepted then falls apart. We should be teaching them otherwise.
DeleteAnd you are jealous of the elitist yet you criticize their ways. So your way is the second tier group, yet you say those are failing. You can't have it both ways. You want the elitist to dumb down their system to accommodate those that can't keep up. And you say that boys there are failing. So why are they the top mesivtas? And no, English is still not accepted in Lakewood.
The problem certainly exists, but bad middos will not be tamped by chadarim making mesivtos. As long as society allows and supports unworthy people when they open Yeshivos, whether they are baalebatim looking for a tax write-off, leidigeyers looking for a purpose to their lives, or aggressive people looking to get ahead, the bochurim will suffer.
DeleteWe should not support them, with our tzedakah funds or sons. We should demand Yeshivos run and staffed by talmidei chachamim.
Who can "claim" what the Rosh HaYeshiva Rav Aharon held?
DeleteIs it that hard to know?
Lakewood schools will miss Payroll, why cry many of the Bais Yaakovs of Lakewood missed to date many payrolls this term.
ReplyDeleteMosdos don't tax you. And they are going to lose their funding. Been warning of the collapse for a decade. Dumb people reelecting same chumps.
DeleteEvery Menahel and boards of Moidois should read the Avrhom Birenbaum article this week. They are making a churban of the children in our moisdois. Reb Leib Shteinman was shray'ing about this for many years.
ReplyDeleteMenahelim, melamdim, rabbeim, teachers, and anyone dealing with heilg Yiddish neshamos and kinder should not read articles written by laymen, they should get all their knowledge and advice from the Torah and those who toil in the Torah.
ReplyDeleteAvraham Birnbaum is as qualified as just about anybody out there.Of his generation.
