  2. Can someone please explain the lineage of the Vizhnitz-Yerushalayim-Lakewood Rebbe? Thanks in advance

    1. Reb Lazer Hager son of the previous rebbe in Monsey Reb Moteleh, was appointed as the official viznitz rebbe of Lakewood and Yerushalayim although he lives in BP there's already another viznitz rebbe there and he plans to move to Lakewood once his kehila is established at the former flea market. The rebbe also spends time in Yerushalayim so he is called the Lakewood yerushalayim rebbe he is very active with medical references in Mt. Sinai hospital and recently started helping with upgrading hospitals in Toms River

    2. apparently there is a Vizhnitz Rebbe who i think is the son of Rav Mottel Hager zt"l, who was the Vizhnitz Rebbe of Monsey. He is Rebbe of Vizhnitz communities in both Lakewood and Yerushalaim, so he is called the Vizhnitz-Lakewood-Yerushalaim Rebbe. There were plans at one point to build a Vizhnitz kehilla by the flea market on Rte. 70 but that doesn't seem to be happening so quickly, so i don't know if he really has a kehillah in Lakewood right now.
His father, Rav Mottel Twersky, was a son-in-law of the Skverer Rebbe, Rav Yaakov Yosef Twersky zt"l. He was a son of the Vizhnitz Rebbe Rav Chaim Meir Hager zt"l, vechulu vechulu.

    3. The flea market fell through reports are the Satmar Zallys wanna buy it. I heard from people familiar with the matter.

    4. Upgrading hospitals in Toms River means he will now refer his chasidim to use specific doctors and hospitals in Toms River, in exchange for a donation to his kehilla? Community Hospital is local and has been ignored by Hatzala and Bikur Cholim for years, in exchange for funneling traffic to Jersey Shore. Community now has another angle in and is trying to get our business. That is why there is finally a bikur cholim presence there.
On that note, any news on Chemed's plan to open their own emergency room, and have hatzola redirect everyone there?

      Delete
    5. Is there a real Bikur Cholim there? That actually provides services people use?

Or like other area hospitals? Where we hear about filled pantries, yet stay hungry?

      Delete
    6. Upgrading any hospital means another option.
Why send only to university school at jersey shore, don't we deserve another option? All about protektzia and business deals? When can we expect that health and life matter should matter?

    1. the benefit to the structure is that they dont have a mesivta mess

  4. It's actually not really so fair to the parents to be left out of the farher decisions. Schools place kids according to what they want not always giving every kid a fair chance. Parents know their kids best but can't do anything without the help of the school

  5. Some floating the idea that the mesivtas that broke the dam first should be publicly left off the mesivta list next year

    ReplyDelete
  6. In short it's ridiculous, he is vishnitz Lakewood Yerushalayim Rebbe but has no shaychas to any of the above as he lives in BP. Go figure

    ReplyDelete
  7. Vishnitz became like nadvorn, more Rebbe's than chasdidim

  8. Parents who want to send to a yeshiva should reach out to them, yeshivos that want specific boys should reach to the parents, can discuss with the Rebbi (fateher and yeshiva).
Are we to lose all "parental rights" aka chiyuv chinuch / v'shinantum etc. ?

  9. Peter Hegseth is a Christian Zionist. And like all CZs he believes all Jews must move to Israel in order for Yoshke to return and force Jews to convert. If not, they should be annihilated, r”l.

    1. He never said that.

What did the chofetz chaim do when he heard about the balfour declaration? He put on bigdei Shabbos and he saw it as a positive sign from Above.

Seeking to either downplay (or upplay) what hegseth said is an indication that you should learn through things which will improve your ability to see Hashem's continuous Hashgachah over His children.

    2. Impossible!
The Messiah Trump chose him, so he must be good for us.

If you think differently, you are probably a Gadol who only cares about money.

    3. The Chofetz Chaim was an anti-Zionist. He most likely teared kriah.

    4. Most of Hesgeth CZ crowd consider jews to be the forever chosen people.
Their mamzer messiah redeemer came to the world acc.to them to save & include subscribing non-jews.
But authentic Jews remain always chosen

      Delete
    5. That was later. He had little problem with non-jews giving us autonomy

That's not what his son testifies. His son wrote a biography of his father, since there were many inccorect ones which were published. It's part of 'kol kisvei Chofetz Chaim'. Zikoron L'Aba Mori.

    7. The CC did not put on Shabbos clothing. That's ridiculous. His son merely said that he saw it as a good sign, but was scared that people would ruin it.

Reb Elchanan quotes him as saying, "I will not accept 99 cents on the dollar. Hashem and His Neviim promised us much more than that."

Believe what you want. But only diehard Zionist idealists were willing to jeopardize Klal Yisroel's position in Chutz La'aretz for political power in Israel. We don't want the state dismantled, but Messianic beliefs are dangerous.

    8. Based on what I was told to think I didn’t believe the Chofetz Chaim celebrated the Balfour Declaration. Of course no one told this to you either but his son who wrote the Mishna Brura with him and Dugma L’abba was also the president of Mizrachi in Poland. Anyway, I got someone to ask R’ Leizer Levin who at that time (1980s) was the only known talmid of the CC from that time still alive and he confirmed it.

      Delete
    9. Rav Leizer Levin was definitely not the only know talmid of the Chofetz Chaim still alive in the 1980s. Rav Mordche Zuckerman, for example, was alive until just a few years ago.

      Delete
    10. Reb Leizer Levin was probably not a talmid when the Balfour Declaration happened.
And I quoted the CC's son as he wrote it.
No Shabbos clothing, no celebration. He had hopes that it would work, but was fearful that it wouldn't.
His son being the 'head of Mizrachi' is absolutely irrelevant. The CC himself was a founder of Agudas Yisroel, and no amount of revisionist history can change that.

    11. Just another incorrect biased biography, the poskim say it can not be relied upon.
he was part of AI till he left.
It is pretty obvious and very clear from his seforim and manuscripts as well as his talmidim what he held. He did believe the Torah and its teaching is the high authority. Yes.
      Sorry

  10. The Rebbe's goal is to place 28 boys. Its a tough job & he does his best, but thats his goal. A parent's goal is to get his child into the best place for his individual needs. No one can take the place of a parent & no parent will give up that right. Its DOA.

  16. Why is Belzer Rebbe's grandson having a Lechayim at an ice cream store? He should have a double fudge sundae.
Also, it's a chutzpah to bring strange Rebbes' grandchildren. Reb Yerucham Olshin's granddaughter should be the one making the Lechayim.

When he got there, the. Communists weren't stupid, a Rebbe from America! They invited him to speak.
He gave it to them, in Polish.
