- Cabinet approved the hostage deal

- Update: The government will convene at the -knesset this afternoon 2 hours before shabbos and possibly continue going into shabbos to vote on the hostage deal.

- Security cabinet convened today erev shabbos  to okay Gaza deal; first hostages to be freed Sunday at 4pm.
The knesset will vote on the deal motzei shabbos
The families of the hostages have been officially informed that 33 hostages are expected to be released.

- Minister Amichai Chikli (Likud) threatened in a to resign his position as a minister if the incoming hostage deal terms include a retreat from the Philadelphi Corridor on the Gaza-Egypt border 

- Ben Gvir will resign when  the deal is approved but will return in 2 months if the IDF resumes the war in Gaza to destroy Hamas.
Betzalel Smotrich has not indicated yet if he too will resign, potentially leading to new elections.

- Yesha council released stats showing that out of 804 IDF soldiers who were killed since October 7th, 113 were from the west Bank settlements.

-Trump and Biden both guranteed that if Hamas breaches the ceasefire israel  will have a green light to resume the war.(Israel Hayom)

- List of the 33 hostages to be released in phase 1, while israel believes most are alive, as of now there's no information on their condituons..

Not very hard to realize that Israel is like a pet on a leash they need a green light to proceed , And don't have the capability to finance or acquire the weapons they need without help from the US , They simply don't have the ability or the independence to win a war . it's been Grinding on for a year and a half with no practical results. At a certain point you need to cut your losses... Iran is resupplying hamas So basically this can go on forever.......

    Strange take. Can anyone imagine the backlash if the Charedim, who contributed little to the war, voted for the continuation of the war?
