Israel At War Friday January 3

 Israel at war Day 455

- Israeli hostage negotiating team said to wrap up first round of talks in Doha

- Hamas wants Gaza ceasefire deal as soon as possible, senior official says

- Israel has decided to switch back into massive fighting in Gaza after almost 8 months. IDF Elite Division 98 will soon join the fight. The Air Force has been striking Hams positions constantly in the past 3 days (much like after 10/7). The main goal is to eliminate the leadership that is left and responsible for Hams' regrouping. Unless a ceasefire will be achieved in the next few days, Israel will go all in when it comes to Gaza.

- In a joint operation by the Air Force and the Southern Command, and with intelligence guidance from the Military Intelligence and Shin Bet, fighter jets and aircraft attacked approximately 40 terrorist concentration points and command and control complexes of the Hams terrorist organization throughout the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.

- Channel 12 reports that Israel is considering significantly restricting the amount of humanitarian aid entering Gaza once US President-elect Donald Trump enters office on January 20. The move is aimed at dismantling Hamas’s governing capabilities in Gaza, which Jerusalem says it has been able to maintain after nearly 15 months of war by controlling much of the humanitarian aid that enters the Strip. Hamas fighters have been known to charge fees in exchange for the release of aid convoys upon their entry into Gaza.
