- Welcome home yeshiva bochurim some yeshivos have an off shabbos this week.

- Admor Toldos Tzvi of Spinka will spend shabbos in Lakewood at his B"M 424. 15th street

- Grandson of Belzer rebbe shlita will be spending shabbos at the Belz kehila in Lakewood marking a decade since its establishment

- All busing in Lakewood including LSTA yeshiva busing in danger of shutting down February 22nd if the state of NJ does not bail out the Lakewood school district. 

Officials tell App The township school district will run out of money next month if more state aid is not provided to help offset a $19 million deficit, officials said Wednesday night.

the district is forced to shut down that would also mean its busing of both public and non-public students would be suspended as well, officials said. The state told the district to use funds from the special reserve for yeshivos in the amount of $25 million.

Education Department spokesman Michael Yaple offered this response when asked by the Press. "The department continues to work with the Lakewood Board of Education to address its fiscal responsibilities, and we continue to work with officials from the district to assure adherence to state statutes and regulations, policies, and best practices to ensure the students receive the best education possible.”

-The Trump administration has initiated the process of deporting illegal immigrants from the US, utilizing military aircraft for this purpose.

North Carolina's been treated very badly, so we're stopping there and we'll then go to Los Angeles and take a look at a fire that could have been put out if they let the water flow, but they didn't let the water flow.

- Tax dollars LFD budget increased by 2 milliom to accommodate growth.

The Lakewood Fire Department’s Engine Company No. 1 transitioned from a volunteer fire company to a full-time career fire company this evening. This significant reorganization brings the number of full-time paid fire companies in Lakewood to three, further enhancing fire protection and emergency response in the area.
