- Trump Trial in NYC closing arguments finish today Jury gets to deliberate tomorrow. Verdict possible for Wednesday.

- Adirei Hatorah event will be starting earlier, Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlita is scheduled to participate.

Updated: After some confusion,turns out was no ejection of any child, the cause is under investigation it appears the car either had a blowout or something caused it to lose control
- Traffic Cross st White after serious accident resulting in flipped over minivan with ppssible ejection of a child. Traffic backed up on James and New Egypt. Multiple patients hospitalized 4:30pm

- Early voting for the primary starts Wednesday, May 29 through Sunday, June 2. Early voting hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on primary election day, June 4.

- Lakewood vaad makes no endorsement in the upcoming primary election June 4th nor has there been any push to vote. 

- Toms River primary election competing for a one-year unexpired term for Ward 2 are former Councilman Kevin M. Geoghegan, 58, a retired Toms River police sergeant, and political newcomer William Byrne who was a registered democrat as of March but switched.

In a letter sent to voters in Ward 2 and signed by Byrne, the council candidate blames mayor Hill's administration, including Geoghegan, for supporting a zoning change that requires only two acres to build  shuls and houses of worship, compared with 10 in an ordinance adopted in 2017. The township changed the zoning to two acres in 2021, after the U.S. Department of Justice threatened to sue Toms River after a two-year investigation into Toms River's religious zoning laws.APP

- BDE: Petirah of R’ Nussi Weinstock  Z"L of Toms River at the age of 47 he  found unresponsive yesterday he moved recently from Brooklyn and leaves behind a wife and six young children. The levaya is scheduled to take place at 1:30 PM  in Boro Park at Shomrei Hadas

- A local Lakewood area resident who was arrested on the way back from Miron has been released after being held in Jail for a day. The police trumped up fake charges but video evidence proved otherwise and a judge threw out the case and ordered the immediate release 

- This motzei shabbos 3 black men broke into a Toms River home searching for car keys while the homeowners were sleeping, after 12 minutes they left the home  A few minutes later a vehicle in the neighborhood was stolen it was found later on in the bronx. The burglars broke through a garage window they were seen on camera wearing gloves and masks. Police suggest to install alarm systems (Kol Mevaser).

  1. Did anyone see the anti Biden billboard smack in middle of Lakewood
    Where is the achrayus of any leadership to allow this and publicly attack a sitting president.
    Biden has been bad on Israel but this is not our place for public condemnation

    1. I have no idea what the ad says but attacking the political views of a sitting politician and putting up billboards against them is normal political discourse in the US. Attacking him personally is also normal political discourse in the US these days but it is only the latter that the frum world needs to stay away from. The latter serves no purpose other than making him and his supporters enemies, Biden in particular has proven himself to be SUPER vulnerable to political pressure and threats of "do this or we won't vote for you"

  2. Does anyone have any ideas how to get the street lights in lakewood fixed?
    It seems to be many lights burned out or broken ?

  3. Vote for Albert Harshaw. If the VAAD is too scared to make an endorsement, fine. However, leaving the oilom with no directive, yet calling on everyone to vote is so confusing for those who aren't following politics. Spread the word any way you can. Vote Albert Harshaw for US Senate!

  7. R shaul is great but why all the baloney?its not a chizuk trip its a fundraising trip Why not call a spade a spade there is nothing wrong with raising money for good causes.
