-Update:  Three soldiers killed in the Hamas-claimed rocket attack against a staging ground near Kerem Shalom in southern Israel earlier today. This brings death toll of Gaza operation to 266

-Netanyahu: If Israel is forced to stand alone against the enemy, we will stand alone

- Report: The Biden administration last week put a hold on a shipment of U.S.-made ammunition to Israel, two Israeli officials said. This is the first time since the Oct. 7 attack that the U.S. has stopped a weapons shipment intended for the Israeli military. 

-At least seven people were wounded some seriously after Hamas fired ten rockets toward the Kerem Shalom area along the Israel-Gaza border on Sunday afternoon. At least one of the individuals wounded was in critical condition.
Shortly after the attack, the IDF closed the Kerem Shalom crossing located in the area, halting the entry of humanitarian. Hamas claimed responsibility, saying it targeted a gathering of troops. Israeli airstrikes are reported in southern Rafah.

- Hezbollah fired 65 rockets in one of the largest attacks over Northern border into Kiryat Shmona and other areas today, no reports of injuries.

- Israel Govt shuts down AL Jazeera. Israel's cabinet on Sunday unanimously voted to shut down the Qatari news outlet Al Jazeera's operations in Israel, nearly six months after first announcing its intentions to do so due to security concerns related to the Israel-Hamas war.

-Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says Israel has identified signs that Hamas is not interested in a hostage deal, and in turn, the military will launch its offensive in southern Gaza’s Rafah in “the near future

- National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi revealed on Saturday evening in an interview on Channel 12 that the IDF was very close to eliminating Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. "This man is on borrowed time, and it requires patience. The Americans waited ten years for bin Laden, and I'm sure our moment will come and won't be that long," Hanegbi stated. "He escapes from tunnel to tunnel. We were close to him, some say even very close. We missed him by less than a few days. He will not get out of this confrontation alive; his fate is sealed."

- US House Democrats are pressuring President Biden to consider stopping arms sales to Israel if it doesn't change its conduct in the war against Hamas. The letter from 88 Democrats increases pressure on Biden to take a tougher stance on Israel.
