  4. Don't forget our other Republican assemblyman Sean Kean, he also voted for it.
See a pattern; they are all for hiding the backroom deals that go on in government.
Even our Republican representatives sperated from their colleagues to vote against government transparency.

    1. Why? They are simply following their mesorah. In Lithuania, they hung a Lithuanian flag on Independence Day as well. It's the way yidden have always dealt in golus with a hostile goverment. Give them kovod and try to keep a low profile.

    2. I will confidently say that Harav Kahaneman זצ"ל had very broad pleitzes, and if this was his decision, it was Da'as Torah. Your comment is inappropriate and unacceptable.

  7. Yes BMG also flys the stars & stripes, however the Israeli flag is different as it represents kefirah of the Torah, how can a Yeshiva stoop so low to fly it for a few dollars??

    1. I guess the Gedolei Yisroel disagree with you. Either they hold it does not represent kefirah, or they don't think 'representing' is that important.

Because we have yet to hear of one gadol beyisroel who has expressed a negative opinion about it. And even if they did, the Ponovezher Rav is entitled to disagree with them.

  8. Do you really have complaints on Lakewood township for not condemning the billboard? That is ridiculous.
First of all its in Howell, its not even in Lakewood borders.
Secondly the city population (and the elected officials) is vastly majority Jewish. Do we really need to pass a resolution condemning Antisemitism?? "Hey everybody out there who cares about these ridiculous resolutions passed in small townships, that have no legal weight or power. Just so you know we really disapprove of you hating us, you really shouldn't do that."
Don't get me wrong I am all for hating on the township and the elected officials for their disastrous job running (or ruining) the city. But there is no need to stoop to quibble over stupid things like this. There is enough to complain about without it.
