Trump says he expects to be arrested, calls for protest

(AP)  Donald Trump claimed on Saturday that his arrest is imminent and issued an extraordinary call for his supporters to protest as a New York grand jury investigates hush money payments. Even as Trump’s lawyer and spokesperson said there had been no communication from prosecutors, Trump declared in a post on his social media platform that he expects to be taken into custody on Tuesday.
“IT’S TIME!!!” he wrote. “WE JUST CAN’T ALLOW THIS ANYMORE. THEY’RE KILLING OUR NATION AS WE SIT BACK & WATCH. WE MUST SAVE AMERICA!PROTEST, PROTEST, PROTEST!!!”

- Giuliani: The potential indictment of former President Donald Trump is eventually “going to be dismissed” and the attempt by George Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is going to backfire. This is such a miscarriage of justice, it’ll get him elected president.”

- Former President Donald Trump will not refuse to surrender if the Manhattan district attorney criminally indicts him, his lawyer says.
“There won’t be a standoff at Mar-a-Lago with Secret Service and the Manhattan DA’s office.”

  1. I guess Aguda couldn't sell any of their "almost sold out" seats. Maybe next time they should go back to advertising in Times Square..

Aguda has become an embarrassment to our community. Shut them down and let the Chasidim continue doing their work. They are much more successful, and at least follow some Daas Torah guidance!

    1. Where they become the communal organization the situation is just as bad.
How they manage for now?Because they are remain conveniently a sub-culture & claim plausible deniability for any issue too big .Or outsource to others.

    2. Agudah needs to exist. They just need to get back onto their rails. Och un vei if they close down, as the void gets filled with much terribleness. They really need to regroup and refocus.

What keeps the Chasidishe party in line in Eretz Yisroel is that they know that degel exists.

We don't need them to do what was done to Yerusholayim (when they actively installed a frei mayor...) or to Rav Shaul Alter.... Competition and an alternate choice keeps people in check.

  2. Learn the lesson of the J6 protestors: whatever you do, do not listen to Trump's call to protest in any Dem city. You will wind up in a Dem city jail, prosecuted by a corrupt Soros prosecutor, and found guilty by Dem voting jury. And Trump will not spend a penny or put in any effort to help you.

    1. Protests are part of the first amendment. The fact that Conservatives can't peacefully protest in certain Dem areas because of the threat of arrest is scary. We have lost our country. Trump is right. We have become a banana republic.

    2. It's worse than a banana republic - and that's the point. מלכות הרשעה is what too many want.

Remember that מצרים didn't start out as bad either. But it is clearly where it ended up.

Pure political charges.THat is where we are:https://dusiznies.blogspot.com/2023/03/elliot-resnick-former-jewish-press.html?m=1
Those behind this [includes liberal Orthodox with sinister clout]
couldn't stomach how Resnik gave Social conservatives a prominent place within the paper.
      So they engineered his removal.
      Now this
