  2. What is the politics with the Lang ruling? Why wouldn’t the establishment be happy with this ruling?

  4. Some people rather not change things up as long that they get their peice of the pie. It's amazing what one man has done while all the big powerful organizations and noise makers could not do. It bothers them to give credit when they look like fools

    1. It's not just giving me credit. I want a raise.

If the BOE acknowledges my contribution, the superintendent might have to put me onto the contractual administrative salary guide, which with my seniority in the district, would cost them a fortune, like another $20,000 or so each year.

Its better for them to keep on saying, "We're working with Trenton." Even bussing a couple hundred kids to Trenton every year is cheaper.

We all know how they love doing stuff "cheaper." After all, how many times have we heard people say, "It's cheaper to pay an lawyer a $1 million a year to be on our side than to fight him?" (What is our side?) "Valor" and "honor," are words just not found in their vocabulary.

  5. The silence from agudah nj and boe attorney is deafening being that they never miss an opportunity to fo on camera comment on anything and everything. This puts into perspective all the noise when our so called leaders tell us how they are here for US.

  7. No worries our elected and public officials are working behind the scenes to support the Judges ruling but refrain from making public statements for strategic reasons they dont want to anger king Phil

    1. Why do they care to anger Phil Murphy? When they angered Chris Christie, he took revenge on the little guys. No powerful people were hurt.

  8. What is the point of not reporting on this news? Do they think the news will change because of their lack of reporting?
Even if they are on the other side of the argument, the news is still true, and people are interested in it. If they want, write an op-ed why they think the news is not good. But ignoring it just makes them look stupid.

  9. TLS would take my press release. Maybe there simply was not enough room for the story on the TLS website given all the important local matters. The Lakewood court case story is not just local but national news. It will significantly affect other districts and its outcome might become a model for all districts with large numbers of nonpublic students.

As it turned out, lack of newsworthiness was not the reason. TLS replied to my email, "We generally don’t post things sent out all over." I guess they wanted an exclusive.

You can't own news. TLS does not have a monopoly over the news. The First Amendment is the property of all Americans, not that of one organization.

As for Politico, they underestimated the precarious position of the governor. The last paragraph on the ruling is almost an invitation for every district to challenge the SFRA. The State would be wise to minimize its losses at this point. A Lang

  10. Lang's victory embarrasses them. It makes them look irrelevant. So they hush.
