  1. This photo has already been published in Mellers book years ago, not sure what’s so rare about this

    1. There are billions of photographs in the world. Only a few thousand were printed in Meller's book.
      That makes it rare.

  2. I suggest to everyone to write a complaint to Amazon Customer Service about their plan to eliminate AmazonSmile which has benefited so many mosdos. Of course, when there is a choice, we should support our own stores before Amazon. But for those who do use Amazon at least a small portion of our business should support our own community. Please voice your support and maybe we can get them to alter their plan.

    1. The benefit for the organizations is very minimal. I had relief as my org and in all the years, they gained about 3-4k. Big shpritz

    2. I don't think we have any right to complain if a business which gave to charitable causes before, now decides that due to the Bidenflation it can no longer afford to continue its benevolent activities. Indeed, to "complain" would be highly disrespectful aka pure chutzpah, especially when they're also laying off 18,000 employees!

If anything, I would only communicate my appreciation to corporate headquarters for all their past generosity and convey my wishes that the economy will get better so that Amazon can become prosperous enough again to feel comfortable restarting their wonderful AmazonSmile program.

Btw, since the inception of the program in 2013 the Lakewood Cheder has received a total of approximately 17K. It doesn't appear that the overall impact is that great of a deal.

  4. Looks like Mayor for Life Coles is doing pretty good, plus who else gets lifetime health benefits for 20 years of service. People of Lakewood better wake up and vote these people out as your taxes are only going to go up big time each year.

  5. Proud to be living in the only township in NJ that the governing body has virtual only meetings. They truly care about the taxpayers and meet virtually to save us money when it would be easier for them to have meetings in town hall.
