- Bde: Petirah of Mrs. Batsheva Ashkenazi A"H ( nee Hochman from Toronto), following a prolonged illness. She was  39. husband is Ybl"c  Reb Yehuda shlita, she leaves behind  several  children. - Mega Millions: A single winning ticket for the Mega Millions lottery jackpot of $1.35 billion was sold in Maine. The winning numbers for the jackpot were 30, 43, 45, 46 and 61, plus the power ball 14.

- Cold weather brought snow flurries shabbos morning to the Lakewood region 

- Lakewood girls high school entrance exam taking place tomorrow morning in Bais Faiga. Parents are urged to apply to a minimum of 4 schools (besides schools that are a continuation of their elementary which don't take outsiders) applying for fewer schools means the vaad will not help and parents are on their own.

- Lawyers for President Joe Biden found more classified documents at his home in Wilmington, Delaware, than previously known, the White House acknowledged Saturday. White House lawyer said a total of six pages of classified documents were found during a search of Biden’s private library. The White House had said previously that only a single page was found there.

- Gov. Phil Murphy said Friday he doesn’t believe the state should hit pause on offshore wind development despite a seventh dead whale stranding on a New Jersey or New York beach in just over a month.

- NJ PBA: It seems impossible to believe that (Lakewood  policeman) Chris Matlosz has been gone for 12 years today. To all of us who knew him, he is forever frozen in time. His killing in the line of duty shook our entire State. May his life and legacy always inspire us. 

- U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey released a statement  saying he would introduce legislation to stop federal agencies from banning gas stoves. “The American people are tired of unelected Washington bureaucrats attempting to dictate their daily lives.
