  1. They should ask him his opinion on stopping shuls and if one is stopped what’s his opinion about the kvetching and attacks that goes on for years after.

  2. That’s not a matter of opinion. It’s pashut it’s not nice to stop a shul but in some rare cases like wg it’s ok because there wasn’t another side willing to hondle with the oilam. It certainly is immature to keep kvetching about it.

  3. The idea that people in Lakewood want their child to be a 'Gadol Hador' is a canard.
    Maybe some do.
We want them to be Gedolei Torah.
Manhig is a certain mindset and ability. And if the Manhig is not a great Talmid Chacham, we are in great Tzaros.........
But Gadol Batorah means that he really knows Torah to its depths, in most places in Shas. He knows how to say over a Halacha like a mentch and he constantly strives for more. This person is not a Gadol Hador, but he is a Gadol Batorah.

  4. If we recognize that not every child be a gadol biyisroel and therefore have no issue with reading books of rich donors why do we have an issue with english in mesivtos
