- FDA proposes annual injections against Covid the vaccines will probably need an annual update as the virus continues to evolve. The agency would select the Covid strain for the vaccine in the spring so the updated shots could roll out every September in time for a fall vaccination campaign just like the Flu vaccine.

-  Correction Beginning in March, all households eligible for the NJ  (SNAP) will receive at least nothing less than a  minimum of  $50 monthly. It means no one eligible for SNAP will receive less than $50 in food benefits. If a SNAP household was approved for less than $50  say $23 is the minimum federal SNAP benefit, they will receive their regular monthly benefit plus an additional state supplement of $27 to bring them to $50.

-  FBI official who investigated Trump ties to Russia arrested for illegal ties to Russia former FBI agent Charles McGonigal, who was head of counterintelligence in the New York Field Office and a part of the investigation into supposed ties between Trump and Russia, was arrested over his alleged ties to Oleg Deripaska, a Russian oligarch billionaire who has been sanctioned by the United States and criminally charged last year with violating those sanctions."

-Winter storm this Wednesday will bring snow to some parts of NJ. The northern half of the state is expected to get at least 1 inch of snow with higher amounts in Sussex, Warren and Morris counties, while there will be less than an inch for most of South Jersey on what will be a windy Wednesday. The Lakewood area will get mostly rain all day and night.

  1. Actually the federal minimum snap benefit is less than 50.00 The state is filing in any amount under 50.00..
