As part of P-EBT, Human Services is working with school districts to collect information and later this summer will issue extra food assistance for older eligible school-age children and families. ReplyDeleteWhy does Lakewood need a longer runway? How does this benefit the town?
ReplyDeleteIts a know fact that some corporations will locate their offices near local airports where their personal private small jets can land. Right now only single engine propeller planes can land.
DeleteAgreed! I’ve lived in Lakewood for 20’years and don’t know anyone who uses the airport??
DeleteJet Engine planes will now be able to use the runway. I personally have used the airport in a tremendous chessed situation.
DeleteWhen is out township office going to open to the public? When are the planning and zoning board meetings going to open for the public? Why other towns are open but Lakewood is still closed? Why is every store in Lakewood open but yet our township is closed? Can someone please explain? Thank you
ReplyDeleteI' m joking but I think Lakewood needs a longer runway is the runway is too short since Lakewood has expanded over the years
ReplyDeleteA lot of resources tax money and grants are being pumped into the Lakewood airport. The township gave over the land nearby to the LIC who sold it off to developers.
ReplyDeleteAlso the flying clubs and some private planes were kicked out of Allaire Wall airport and the Lakewood taxpayers are bailing them out by improving the airport.
They are building a park and ride near the airport guess what it will be used for.
They could solve the WG shul crisis remotely but because of kinah sinah and gaava they don’t!
ReplyDeleteWhy should my tax dollars pay for a runway for some big honcho to land his private jet ?
ReplyDeleteBecause your 20,000 of tax dollars is getting another 180,000 of federal grants . And the big honcho will create value in office and industrial properties which will enrich the tax base by a lot more than a one time 20,000 outlay.
DeleteBecause they will bring Money and Business in to Lakewood
DeleteThe big honcho will 'create value' without the airport too. Nobody is moving to Lakewood because of the airport.
DeleteThis is another way to continue the true American system. Rob the poor to give the rich, and call it 'trickle down'.
Because your tax dollars pay for a lot of stupid things and you don’t deserve a penny of it for anything that will benefit you.
ReplyDeleteThe Lakewood Township and committees are living in la la land where everything is just peachy keen.
ReplyDeleteHatzolah air will now be able to fly a critical patient out of Lakewood.
ReplyDeleteHoping Central construction will be gone in the AM. It could be a nightmare.
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn’t be worse than if a shul was built smack in middle of a busy street with a few measley parking spots.
