  1. No need to take a vaccine if you had covid before. You will not get covid again. No variance of it. That's been proven.
It's immoral and unethical to immunize those that don't need it whilst millions of people around the world don't have access to the vaccine.

    1. This is literally not true, I personally know many people who got covid twice, including close family members who.

    2. And I personally know people who got covid after being fully vaccinated? Your point being?

    3. That the original comment of "You will not get covid again. No variance of it. That's been proven." is not correct.

Happy to discuss something if you want, I was replying to this person's comment.

    4. Of course it is correct.
How else can you explain why there are no covid cases in Lakewood, BP, and all other frum communities? Because of social distance? Masks? Vaccines? The reason is because we don't get it twice.
There are actually studies proving that. Google it.

  2. What about the rising cases of Myocarditis among teens and young adults do the doctors address that at all.

  3. Yup I am not an anti vaxxer but all those with antibodies have no reason to get this vaccine. The money theory is a conspiracy by the lunatic anti vaxxers.

  4. Fact: there are more deaths reported in VAERS (CDC vaccine adverse reactions database) due to the covid vaccines than due to all other vaccines combined in the last 15 years. It might still be less risky than covid itself for some people, but definitely not for anyone who already had the virus or for children.

    1. While your first sentence presents a FACT, your second sentence is an opinion and a conclusion that is highly debatable.

VAERS is a database maintained by the CDC. Under the law, vaccine providers are mandated to report adverse events following all vaccinations, within a given time period. While administering 310 million covid vaccines, VAERS has received 5,343 reports of death following the vaccine (0.0017%). There is no indication whatsoever that any of those deaths have any link to the covid vaccine and the existence of this data does not indicate an increased risk of death following the vaccine. The very simple reason that deaths are higher following the covid vaccine vs other vaccines is that it is being administered to a population that is already at increased risk for death (elderly and those in poor health) as opposed to other vaccines that are given to healthy young children.

    2. My claim of "fact" was indeed just the first sentence.

Let me correct your numbers. 310MM doses is double counting ppl who've gotten 2 shots, so the number of ppl vaccinated (either 1 or 2 shots) is under 200MM. Also, the number of deaths reported are now at 6k and rising. That doesn't include any other adverse effects; just deaths.

There is no other logical explanation for these deaths. To say this dramatic rise in reported effects is no indication of increased risk of death is just being intellectually dishonest.

The argument that it's so much higher (60 times!!) because of it being given to an older population on average - is nonsense because the flu shot also skews heavily to the elderly. Even if there is truth to that age difference theory, it doesn't account for the 60X mortality rate. Not even close!

    3. There is no rise. The death rate is exactly as it always is.
There is no 60x mortality rate, except in your mind.

  5. I will not vaccinate because I don't believe everything they're telling us about it's safety. I heard there are deaths, blood clots, infertility issues and other effects from the vaccine. It is safer to get Covid, be treated properly and recover from it than to take the vaccine. I also believe in being proactive and protecting my health by building up my immune system, which everyone can and should do.

    1. I heard there are deaths, blood clots and other side effects of covid. In fact, although I know many people who suffered terribly from Covid, I don't know anyone who suffered from the vaccine at all.
      Be proactive, get vaccinated.

  7. unfortunately the medical community lost people's trust due to their constant lying and general cluelessness throughout the pandemic. as a result, many people - even pro-vaxers - are hesitant about the vaccinne and are not going to take it just because the cdc and fauci tell them to.

  8. As an individual in my 60s, who took both vaccines, I am quite aware that there might be problems with the vaccine due to the short amount of time it took to develop. However, I decided that COVID is more dangerous than any side effects of the vaccine at this point. That is not only the case with the elderly. Even young, healthy people are having long term effects from COVID. Just as we don't know the long term effects of the vaccine, we don't really know much about COVID either. I think, at this point, with the knowledge we have now, especially when our country is obviously getting closer to normal BECAUSE OF THE VACCINE, that the risk of COVID is worse than the vaccine risk, for everyone. Please, get the vaccine. You will make things easier for yourself and for the rest of us too.

    1. I know hundreds of people who had covid and none have long term effects (aside for smell and thats rare too) . As for gettting back to normal, they should take into account vaccinated and recovered to tally up herd immunity. The fact that they are pushing the vaccine and ignoring the amount of people who mostly have immunity thru natural recovery discredits them, and is counterproductive , since it causes less trust. Anther point: the vaccines are here; in essence anyone who contracts covid does do at their own risk ( rightly or wrongly, no difference). So nobody is in danger from other people.

    2. "BECAUSE OF THE VACCINE"

Im skeptical of that. The numbers were going down, down, down before the vaccine. In fact I myself am starting to become antivaxer because I suspect they may be right about Poilio and the other diseases- the numbers would have gone down anyway ( dont worry Im not really antivax. I would even take this one, but I already had Covid)

      Delete
    3. Not because of the vaccine. Numbers went down way before that.
What percentage of people in Lakewood took the vaccine?
Of course people who never had it should take the vaccine. But anyone who had covid does not and should not take it.
The other commenter was right. If the medical community would be truthful to us, we would believe them. But they discredited themselves. Unfortunately.
