I have also come to the conclusion that the lower middle-class has found a home in the Republican party. My same brother has the audacity to have a conversation with George W. Bush at a get-together. Bush, as an upper middle class American, hates Trump. He had nothing good to say.
I would like to see the Democrats in Georgia put together a TV ad showing dictators through the twentieth century talking about election fraud, not conceding, stolen votes, like Mugabe and others. Then juxtapose that with Trump. The difference is that our republic is strong and a president cannot get away with this kind of nonsense.
There is kind of a shift. Andrew Jackson characterized the Democrats as the mechanics, farmers and workers. The Northern wing of the Whigs that became the Republicans were big business. Now we have a shift. Big business might mean more toward the Democrats and the working class toward the Republicans.

How can I be the first to get the vaccine to set an example for NJ? I guess I would have to be the governor. I am going to have to wait. ReplyDeletelast I checked no one forces anyone to bathe. This is a democracy where people get to choose how they live their lives. Apparently, most people are with you on the bath thing, but against you with the mask thing. Don't like it- stay home!

As for Democracy, the government can mandate it. As for common sense, either some have it of some do not.
As for wearing a mask and keeping your filth to yourself, yes, it is comparable to personal hygiene, only during a pandemic you are possibly killing others, not just making them sick from odor.
Hey its a democracy, if I want to be infested with lice, or allow rats to roam free in my house, then so be it. Why not spread typhus or bubonic plague? If I to not wear a mask and spread my filth, it's a democracy.

It is not correct to type in caps. Capital letters are the first letters in sentences, proper nouns and in most words of a title. It is more than shouting, and I do not mean to insult but to teach, it says something about level of education. I say the same about those who do not write in cursive script so take comfort. Also, you can use caps for acronyms like FDR and LBJ and great men like MLK can be all caps. Definitely not AOC though unless you want her to be president or a great man.
